I stopped by Walgreens yesterday to use up some of my RRs and pick up some last minute Easter goodies, and have a very pleasant conversation with the manager (asst manager?).

She saw that I had my binder and she was trying to straighten the mayhem that the Easter aisle had turned into, and asked if I knew if the PG insert was coming out this week. She knew about AFC, and I talked with her about stretching that dollar til it screams for mercy when she mentioned that if there's ever a great bargain that I want in bulk to just let her know! She said that they do orders on Mondays, and she'd be happy to place an order for me!

I try to stop by Walgreens at least once a week if there's a great sale going on, and there are a lot of times that the shelves are cleared of the really great bargains. I know that a lot of folks have troubles using their coupons, and that some Wags are starting to use weird interpretations of the coupon policy, but it was refreshing for someone to realize that I'm not trying to rip the store off but instead just trying to get my family of six through these times! Just thought I'd share my little experience because it really brightened my day! Here's what I came home with!
