I used:

3 x $5/Pampers and wipes
3 x $3/Pampers and wipes
3 x Free Wipes w/ Swaddlers
3 x $4/1 Johnson's SoftWash
5 x $1/2 Gerber
1 x $1/1 Dreft
1 x $1.50/1 Huggies Bath/Body

I paid: $5.42!

So they let you use the $5 off pampers/wipes & the $3 printed coupon pampers/wipes. I didn't even try it over the weekend when I went shopping b/c they didn't let me do it last time & I forgot I had the printed coupon too
I guess I'll have to make a target run again. The cashier was very nice though & didn't even look twice at all my coupons. She just scanned all of them.

very good job! I'm surprised they let you use the $5 and $3 off coupons at the same time, but all depends on your cashier I guess. where did you get the free wipes w/swaddlers coupon?

I'm very impressed. It definitely depends on the cashier. You certainly didn't get my guy cashier who read every single word on my last trip. I can imagine the fight on my hands if I'd tried that. We need to take the victories when we can get them! Congratulations!

I got the free wipes coupon from someone on ebay... i actually bought them...the person i got them from never replied to my emails when i asked where they got them from but the coupons do say babies r us at the bottom even though they are manuf coups... so i'd imagine that person probably had a connection with someone at babies r us and took the tearpad before any of us got a chance to see it!

BTW - speaking of babies r us, i was there today and they are having a sale where if u buy a pack of huggies supreme (i think thats the one), u get a free tub of wipes... no coup needed!

Also, the last time I went to target, the cashier argued with me that the $3 and $5 were the same... i pointed out that the $5 required 100 ct wipes and the $3 didn't and that calmed her down... haha, but, good thing they didn't say anything this time because I used the $5 one with only buying the 70 ct tub of wipes

I'm totally with you on sneaking the single tub of wipes instead of "100-ct or larger" I seriously have SUCH stockpile of wipes right now. definitely going to try using the $3 and $5 coupon at the same time.

I hear you... my baby's room is lined with tubs of wipes... all so I can get the diapers while they are on sale... I seriously have a few packs of each size because I would rather stock up now than take a chance of having to pay more later... and, with the wipes... boooy I think I will have enough to last for my next couple of children (God willing!)...

Word of advice... don't mention the coups to them... don't ask if you can use them... just put them in a pile and hand them to the cashier... and, don't put the 3 and 5 next to eachother.. put the 5 first and then some others and the 3's last... by the time they get to the 3's, they won't remember what the 5's were for... that is, if you're lucky!

Thats some good advice! I always read about you guys using coupons like that but I've been too scared (what a chicken I am!) to do that and the most I've done was a manu with a store coup, I still got an ok deal.

klarson...I used to be scared too, but it doesn't hurt to try! The most that will happen is they will deny the coup... you should try... I'm telling you I was so glad I did! I'm still a chicken to try and use expireds... I guess I will work my way up to trying that one!

don't be scared! what's the worst case scenario? a snotty cashier tells you you can't use them? (and technically she's right) you don't have to argue, just kindly say, "oh, I'm so sorry. the coupons must have been stuck together!" never hurts to try!

Remember to save those empty tubs when you use up the wipes....they are great to store toddlers toys in as they grow. We have them full of crayons and small toys. The tubs are my "cheap" Rubbermaid

I think I am going to give it one more try after I received the coupon.. yes, ElleBelle, we shouldn't be scared, let's take a deep deep breath.. ooh.. ok, I will try it one more time. I saw the lady cashier who did not let me use my raincheck coz it's not the size mentioned checking on another customer's using the correct coupon.. That person had a full cart of stuff and just a few coupons.. sigh, why can't she let it go, and there were lines holding behind, anyway, good job again AdamsMom
