i can't BELIEVE what an IDIOT i am!!!!!!!!! i cleaned out my coupon bag and my purse while my kids were playing at our local indoor playground and i THREW OUT all my old receipts! (*&#*^&^#% i made sure i had entered ALL of them in my SCR and gotten credit for them and then i THREW THEM OUT! i have $50 in just two receipts!!! i did the $100 P&G deal- get $35 gift card- 'cause i had free gift cards from transferred prescriptions ($75 worth! don't be jealous, we have no prescription coverage and the OOP cost was $200)

I think I tossed a few out too. I keep forgetting about the coupon booklet. I need to print out the form and get an envelope ready and put the receipts in as I get them so I don't lose them or toss them

I want to try and keep receipts for at least 6 months but it's so much paper! For christmas I bought my daughter a movie that now has a rebate if you bought another (very in expensive) product and I even bought it within the dates and I threw the receipt out thinking I wouldn't need it =( makes me sad. But, what can ya do right?

I save them all year. We deduct sales tax. Don't do scanned receipts, but it is a thought.

I now have been saving all my recipets. I just put them all in an envelope and move them to an accordian binder ath the end of the month. I calculate my savings on a spread sheet and I have messed up and needed to look at the recipet agian so i started doing this.. plus it comes in handy with rebates and stuff like this!
