There is a $1 manufacturer coupon on any 1 shampoo or conditioner making them 44 cents each and the bonus is they also come with a trail size shampoo or conditioner free!!! Awesome deal! I got 35 bottles today all with the trial size attached and 2 - 2 liters of Pepsi (with the b1g1 target coupon) for only $16 but then tax was $3. So for a total of $19!!!

Also they are starting to clearance out a ton more of the health and beauty products, they're not reduced much now but I"m sure they will come down more in another week or so.

When I was there today the jergens was still $3. I know they are starting to markdown the old spice 3pack deodorants and Tag products. They added a lot of new stuff to the clearance rack. But right now it's not clearanced down that much. If I see it go down to a good price with coupons, I'll be sure to let everyone know! :-)

Justpechee...we tend to get extra papers each week from various sources (buy them ,neighbors, etc.

I went to Target tonight and grabbed 3 shampoo and 3 conditioner. There were more conditioner but no more shampoo.

Thank you! This is good to know. When I was in Target a week or so ago relieving them of all of their Degree deodorants I saw the Garnier and it was over 2 dollars and I hemmed and hawed about it and decided not to get them. I'm glad I waited. I think 44 cents is the right price! :-)

Well, the last time I went I went looking for Fusion and found Degree. None of my stores (I went to 5) had the Fusion on clearance a couple of weeks ago. I did wonder if now that Father's Day is over if they'd put them on clearance, I guess I'll take my Fusion coupons with me when I go to get the Garnier this week. :-)

I want to say normal price was $7.99 and clearance was $6.xx. It was still too rich for my blood.

That's too rich for me too. Especially since the Fusion razors are on ECB next week at CVS (next week, right?). I'm not too concerned about the shaving cream, because you can get that cheap anywhere. But the replacement cartridges for that razor are expensive, so if I can get the whole package for less than what the cartridges cost with a coupon then it's a deal. That said, I'd prefer paying change than with bills. :-)

One more question (or 2) for those of you that gets tons of coupons. Do you cut out ALL the coupons just in case? If so, do you carry them with you all the time and what on earth do you put them in to organize??

I have a small organizer I carry with me all the time, but I usually don't have more than 3 for the same item. Should I be asking my neighbors?? "Hi, nice to meet you...um can I have your weekend paper every week??"

I get 10 newspapers every Sunday morning except on days when there are no coupons. Honestly I'll probably never use most of them, but usually there are deals that come along where I can use some of those coupons and it makes it totally worth the 10 bucks.

As for how I clip them. It depends. If it's a coupon that I know I will use, then I'll take the sheet out and stack them so that they're in a nice neat perfectly straight pile, I'll staple them through the coupons (not the barcodes tho), and cut the coupon so I have a nice stapled stack of 10 coupons. I did this on the Meow Mix $2 off coupon from this past Sunday, and I'll do it for coupons I can use for multiple deals at CVS or where ever.

The rest of the insert (along with extra coupons clipped from it, or stapled sheets from it) lives in it's own folder labeled with the date and which insert (06/17 SmartSource, etc). On the front of that folder I print out an alphabetical list (like from DeDe's coupons and things, on her site she has a nice tabled list of all the coupons in each insert, and when inserts are different she will list each of the different one so you can find the one you have) and I tape that list to it so that I can look at the folder and see what's in it without digging.

It also makes it easy to find coupons so that when Kmchamplin posts her coupon matchup posts I can easily locate the coupons I need. If I need to clip them all, I do like above, and if I need one or two I'll just clip one or two.

When I started a couple of months ago I just clipped every coupon. Even stapled together though, that is a heck of a mess to keep track of. I don't carry all my coupons with me all the time. I take the ones I know I need for a certain shopping trip, and also some of the ones I think I'll need if I happen to find something on clearance.

If there's a really sweet deal on something, like the Degree deodorant that might still be on clearance at Target, then I do not hesitate to hit eBay. I had NO Degree deodorant coupons (at least not the ones for the best deal on those on clearance), and I went on eBay and got 30 of them and spent 3 bucks. Even with that cost factored in to what I spent on 30 full size degree deodorants and 30 travel size (total cost was maybe just over 10 bucks), it was absolutely worth it. But I've started getting the 10 papers every Sunday so hopefully I'll have enough of a coupon on hand to take advantage of a good deal when it comes along.

Now, if you do have friends that get the Sunday paper, heck yeah, ask them to pull the coupon inserts for you. There's also a really great post about Dumpster Diving here:

There are also the Venus razor big packs on clearance, but right now they are only 15% off too. Hope they come down. Will have to keep an eye on it!

Hopefully the fusion razors will be reduced a little bit more before the fusion coupons expire (6/30). That would be a bummer!

How to get extra coupons you ask? I started a coupon swap at work with several other people. I volunteered to clean it out every week so I get all the extras. There are only 5 of us that are doing it, but they're not huge coupon people so there are always tons left. I also have friends who give me inserts. You can start a coupon swap at your gym, library, daycare, work, or anyplace you think people might be interested. There was an article on AFC's home page about how to do the swap. It works pretty well. I've used ebay a lot and the two companies that are listed on AFC's home page. Also take advantage of this site and trade with people.
