As far as I can tell there are two moneymakers at CVS this week.

1) The $6.99 Alavert - use $6 coupon get back $5 in ECBs
2) Reach toothbrushes - Free after ECB and there are $.75 off coupons in today's paper (too bad that one has a limit of 1)

Also, does anyone know if the Coke deal applies to all varieties of Coke (cherry, Plus, etc)? If so, LisaArbo posted a Diet Coke Plus printable elsewhere on the site. It wouldn't make the Diet Coke Plus free, but it would make it $1 for 4 fridgepacks after ECB if the ECB deal will work on the Diet Coke Plus.

I stopped at cvs last night and the cashier told me she bought two bottles of sunscreen and the register printed $10 Eb's instead of $3. Thought I'd see if it would work for me too. I did it on all 3 of my cards and sure enough I got $10 EB's on each one. If you have the heartbeat booklet use the $2/$10 cvs brand to make a profit.

The one with the prices starting at $4.99 isn't a fabulous deal, but the one that's $2.99 w/ $2ECB is pretty good. The toothbrushes aren't quite free as Kmchamplin has on her list, the price is $.49 cents per toothbrush, and you have to buy two to use one coupon, so you spend $.98 on two toothbrushes.

But, the advantage to this particular deal is that you're getting two items with one coupon, so it makes a GREAT filler item if you need to get your purchase amount up and it doesn't hurt your coupon count either.

(i had to go back and look at my coupons after I read your post and sure enough it does say that) HOWEVER... I just seen $1 off and the picture matched my tooth brush so I used 4 of those coupons on 4 toothbrushes. And everyone of them scanned through just fine. This must be one of those cases where the coupons says to buy 2 but must not be coded that way and the print on the coupon is so fine that I didnt even see that part. So I actually got all 4 toothbrushes for free

Inspired by Queenie31rk, I decided to do the Oral-B toothbrush deal. I thought, like everyone else, that there must be some mistake and I'd better take advantage of it before it's caught.

Then I looked at the coupon. It IS confusing, and I spent probably fifteen minutes looking at toothbrushes in CVS trying to decide which ones to buy.

Here is what the coupon says:

For the ECB deal, the ad just says "advantage toothbrush". The toothbrush it has pictured (you have to look closely) is the Advantage Breath Refresh (the kind with the tongue scraper thing on the head). So we can assume that the deal works on any Oral-B toothbrush that is in the Advantage line (says Advantage on the package and includes Advantage Plus and probably others), while the coupon will work on Advantage Breath Refresh, Advantage Arctica, and Advantage Glide if purchased singly and the regular Advantage if you buy two.

Confused yet?

The ECB deal has a limit of 5 per card. So I bought:

2 Oral-B Advantage Breath Refresh
3 Oral-B Advantage Artica (that spelling annoys me)
(regular price for both $3.49 -- I think -- sale price was not marked, but I had the ad in hand in case of emergency)

I got back a $10 ECB and used 5 $1 off coupons. Post coupon price was $1.99 per. So these are FREE AFTER ECB & COUPONS. (Actually, a moneymaker!!)

I did not try the Advantage Plus or any other Advantage (I didn't see Advantage Glide, will look tomorrow) as they weren't listed on the coupon, though if someone has please report back.

The ECB deal does work with the Diet Coke Plus. It should be good on all varieties of Coke products.
