okay so i'm learning the whole CVS thing and I've searched through some old posts for CVS and I'm confused as to "monthly ecb", "weekly ecb" and "unadvertised ecb". I've just been following the "weekly ecb" because I'm not sure as to the others. There is no mention on the store shelves or on their website other than their "weekly advertised ecb" so how do we know what we'll get ecb back on if it's not listed in their weekly ad????

btw, it looked like April had some pretty awesome monthly ecb's available!!!!! I didn't find this site until a few weeks ago so i missed all of those goodies....

Any information would be helpful for us newbies.

Some stores/ areas are better about posting the signage then others. Most of the time I do find the round signs. Near the bottom it typicially gives the sale dates and the limit of offers per customer (card), Sometimes the information is also on the display box.

April was pretty darn good (not as good as October was though) May isn't too hot for me.

Don't know where you are, but I've found that some of the 6 or 7 CVS stores that are within a reasonable distance of me have displays on the endcap of the items on weekly or monthly special, with appropriate signage...if you have more than one that you can get to without much effort, make the rounds...they also don't always have the same clearance schedules, apparently it depends on store traffic, so what might be 75% off at one will still be on "last chance" notice (last chance to buy it at full price ) at another. October was orgasmic, April was pretty good, love those toothbrushes...something else will come up, just keep reading and next time you'll be "in the know".
