Where do you get this information? I guess what you guys do is know what the ECB will be and then find coupons to purchase the products, stack with CVS ECB from previous purchases, .....

Miami, FL CVS weekly Ad (5-13 to 5-19) has a Coupon on page 22 and one on page 24.

If any one in the Miami area could get a clean scan of both it would be greatly appreciated.

I didn't realize what a sweet deal Kotex was with that $2 printable coupon. Maybe it's because I'm a guy and I tend not to linger in the feminine products aisle.

Assuming that one could get their hands on 5 of those printables for each of their cards, it's a very sweet deal. I just worked it out in my mind, and theoretically I could do the following on one of my cards:

Purchase: 5 Kotex @ $3.19 = $15.95
1 filler item (candy bar) @ .50 = $0.50
Total = $16.45

Coupons: $3/$15 CVS
$2 off Kotex (x5)

$16.45 - $13 = $3.45 OOP and get back $10 in ECB.

Can anyone see flaws in my logic? If not I just might try it this week, despite the stares I'm sure to get carrying all my Kotex up to the register.

JSB...I wouldn't worry about the stares. GBM was caught with more than 5 in his cart at one time.

That's so funny! I only know his screen name, but with that screen name I picture a very serious dude. So the thought of a great bear of a man buying all that is quite amusing. I suppose people would see it and either look very strangely at him, or say to themselves "That poor man!"

Jason, the best deals over the last year have been on "pads and 'pons" ... no dignity for a guy in buying them, but if the deal is right, then a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do!

The saddest scene of all times was back in October 2006, the month of the greatest freebies in CVS history! They had Playtex Sport for like $5.00 or so per box, unlimited $5.00 ECB wyb, plus with $2.50/1 manuf coupons and $5/$20 CVS coupons. I ended up with over 100 of the $2.50 coupons, and used them all. I must have done this 30 times: purchased 4 boxes of Playtex Sport (plus a couple fillers), using all the coupons plus $6.00 ECB's ... each time getting $20.00 in ECB's. At one point, my total ECB balance was over $600. (They had similar better-than-free deals on Pantene Ice shampoo, which is another story ... hard to look manly buying that crap too!)

And the women's shelter in town loved the donations ... in fact, they named the East Wing after me ... "the GBM wing for menstruating residents".

But seriously, I can only imagine what some of the cashiers thought, helping me through the check-out for the 5th time, buying all these "feminine care products".

That is an awesome story! It's funny because I just assumed the majority of bargain shoppers on here were women....excuse my ignorance! GBM you're quite an inspiration to all men who have ever had to shop for their misses during that dreaded time of the month.......i would be beaming if my husband came home with a bag full of feminine hygiene products and ecb like that!
