I finally figured out what they mean by competitors coupons. THey don't actually mean coupons, they mean the sales ad. It actually says they will match any coupon that gives an exact price for an item. So for instance if a coupon (most likely just an ad) says it's for $5, you get that price, but they will not take $ off amounts. It specifically says that, so technically they don't accept coupons, they just accept sales ads in the form of a coupon, what a bummer. THey should really take that out of their coupon policy b/c it's very confusing!

as an ex walmart associate.. it is true they confuse you when i comes to what they will do they dont' do buy one get one free, 20% off items, and when you make the competitors ad it HAS to be the exact same item no questions asked!!

Yeah I just called one of my walmarts and the manager stated that as long as it's not a % off, or a buy one get one free then I could use it. She also asked what kind was it and it's the $10 off the alpha pal (target Coupon) and she said that was fine.

Really?! That is so frustrating! I just asked CS at my Walmart last night about the same Q ($10 off Alphabet Pal), and they said they will not accept it! Grrr...I guess I was asking the wrong person. I'll have to hunt down the manager next time.

Does it vary between stores, or can stores use their own discretion on this? I agree, it is frustrating when they are not consistent!

We barely understand the coupon policy, I don't think they understand it either!
