so what do you guys think or do you think they will have a better or cheaper camera on black friday

I was considering something like this myself, I have so many of those Almay $10 and really no way to roll!

I'm not sure what other expensive items would be a good deal right now. Do you know much about the camera?

if you're using all those cats, i don't understand what the big dilema is?? camera sounds like a decent one, far from top of the line but getting it free?? if you end up not loving it, give to a teen you know for xmas or donate it to your local toy drive..... be extra generous with you donations this year, there are so many families hurting out there~

I don't think the OP thought there was a dilemma in using the RR just wanting to know if anyone else was going to do this deal or should they wait if there might be a better deal during BF or after...and it isn't free because they are using their RR to get it...RR are like money to me!
it sounds like a pretty good way to get a decent digital camera. This would be nice gift for my oldest who has been wanting a camera. Thanks for the idea OP!

You would actually only need 3 of the cups, you'll have 4 items (3 cups + 1 camera) and 4 RRs. The cups will ring up .13 and .12 each.

I think it looks like a good deal I would get it if I needed one.

I just want to mention - if you pay for this with RR's and if for any reason you want to return it for a refund - they will NOT refund you the RR's.
Once your RR is "spent" that is it! They have no 'cash value' for a return-and-refund scenario.

So be 100% sure that you want this camera; and hope that it does not have any defects that would force you to want to return it.

I don't think that's a policy set in stone BUT you are correct because I've read other's experiences that some stores refuse to refund the value of the RRs based on no cash value when doing returns. The customer is surprised when they are expecting a full refund ONLY to be disappointed that all they are getting back are a few dollars which covers for taxes if the item is paid fully by RRs. These stores may have made their own policy based on their bad experience with fraudulent returns. This is the same reason why there are stores that refuse to take IPs while others do.

It may be YMMV, there are still stores that will allow returns in the form of store credit BUT they also ask for picture ID. This is to deter those who make a habit of buying with intent to return for store credit/cash refund. There are those who do not like to present an ID so they better weigh it carefully if they want to proceed with the return. A picture ID may also be requested when doing return w/o receipt. Knowing this beforehand gives the customer a choice on whether to proceed with a refund.

Well that doesnt seem very fair. I mean if i buy something and dont like it or if something is wrong with it and i paid for it will rr's i wont get anything back? So they would get the merchandise back and the money (rr's) i paid for it with and i would get nothing? Even if i got a store gc, i certainly wouldnt be leaving that store empty handed, thats for sure.
