Just curious if anyone knows if Target will be matching all the Black Friday ads? This might make our Black Friday shopping a little easier.

I don't think they will. I tried to get a price match on something about a month ago that was on a 3-day sale at store near here, and they wouldn't do it.

Did the sale store require a "members card" of some sort???

I thought that was the only reason they wouldn't match........

last year I don't remember having price matching done but i did get price adjustments...i did all my black friday shopping on wedsneday when the store was completely dead...most of the items were already out...i bought everything i wanted and friday morning when everyone else dashed around i just took my receipt up to customer service and they adjusted all the prices and i was done.

I LOVE that idea! Do you think we will know the items for black friday before then? I know Target tries to keep their ad out of public view till the very last second...

WARNING: Lots of BF ads and items have a VERY SPECIFIC BF item #. I know this is how places like Best Buy avoid price adjustments on BF. To get the price adjusted the Item # has to be the same, and for the BF price they will change the item # in the ad slightly to avoid the price match.

what about an x-box 360 game? Kmart will have Left 4 Dead 2 for $39.99. I wanted to price match it on BF at Target as I have over $80 in GC's from the Glade deal.

If it is going to be "the hot game", most stores Target/K-Mart/Wal-Mart usually have similar prices. That's what I've noticed the past few years.

No, I believe it was for like shopko, they were having a 3 day sale on something, don't even remember what it was anymore. The girl looked up in the book the rules and she said that they don't price match unless it is something that is for all week, not a special sale.

I was at Target today and there was a sign on the register in guest services that said they will price match any item on sale in a paper ad. I'm not sure if there are any additional restrictions or not.

I would never have thought that they would do that. I could do sooo much more. WOW! I am excited now. I hate shopping when it is busy, I just don't have to patience for so many people but I can't stay away from the prices on Black Friday.

Good to know. I would have thought that they would honor it within that same time frame. For example if the 3 day sale was Wed-Fri and you went in Tues, I wouldn't expect a Price Match, but if you went Thurs I would.
They like to make things tricky sometimes.
