I wanted to make this a separate thread so that everyone can see. I just got done with talking to a manager who asked about the promo. The manager said that there wasn't good news for me. UGH

The meetings took up most of their time, but was told that they are more than likely doing away with the Buy $$$ Get $$$ back program because customers were complaining they were too confusing. Double UGH.

So this may be the last promo that they do according to the manager. I will get a phone call when the manager gets more info about the one that is going on now.

So PLEASE send in a comment on how much we love having the buy $$$ get $$$ sales. Cub - General Issues

Karen in the other thread I responded, but I will do so here also. I took the time to email, saying how much i appreciated the OYNO program, and how I love Cub, but without these promotions from time to time, I simply can not make Cub my main store as prices continue to rise, with the exception of some great sales. I need to stretch my budget as far as it will go, and some other stores simply offer lower prices, and other things like double coupons. Thanks for keeping us all informed Karen. Did you get an actual response if this is actually going on this week with the items you have on the list? TY, Niki

I am wondering if this was the start of the phase out program for Cub Foods. Only an email goes out to a select few to tell them about the deal and the public is hidden from it?

This in incredibly disappointing news.

I will be shopping other stores as well. Without the OYNO, Cub is too expensive.

What a shame. I will definitely send an e-mail expressing my concern.

Keep the general public out of the loop for all means as far as I am concerned....those who coupon and work hard should be in the know...
Especially if those not very savvy with deals and coupons complain and get it taken away from us!

Walmart and Target and the drug stores with deal like Walgreens & CVS are CHEAPER ...I quit Cub for a long time after realizing Walmart had better prices but the $$ off deals I go to Cub because then it IS better...Just take the Birdseye Steam Fresh meals...$4.98 at Walmart & my Cub had them at over $6--I think close to $7 ...

I re-replied and said I love my Cub for these deals and also finally remembered to compliment a great cashier too...!!

I did get a Cat printout for a $$ WYB $$ for next week. I can't remember the details and I can't find it at the moment, but it showed Smuckers, and (I think Crisco) and a few other brands, so keep your eyes peeled.

I was beginning to wonder if they were cutting back, as it has been about three weeks now since I have seen one of these deals advertised in their flyer. I do agree it is confusing to the consumer when the Cat should print and doesn't, but it seems like they could solve this problem by putting out signs by the qualifying products or making the list available at customer service. It has always irked me when the ad says see store for more details and customer service and the managers have no clue exactly which products are part of the promo. Just put a list up at the CS desk people! Hope these don't go away, as they are one of the big reasons I shop at Cub.

I believe it is $5 OYNO when you spend $20 same Smuckers Cat we had about a month to 6 weeks ago

I've cut way back on Cub as it is....when my Miracle Whip was $4 at Cub and $2.25 at Walmart....that was it for me!!!! I do appreciate the ONYO's though!!! Big Bummer if they take them away, I will never go again!!!!

I think that as we have been noticing, that we have to keep our eyes out on Shaws and their deals that they are getting. Then check them out at Cub. Two weeks in a row we have had the programs, but they aren't advertised.
