I didn't do the last meter deal so I don't know. I only have 3 q's and would just like to get them over in one trip. I was at the pharmacy counter today and there were quite a few on the shelf... but... There are two regular Wags cashiers who are great. The pharmacy counter is clueless. To the point where I have to be desperate to fill a script there, it gets messed up every time- not the med itself but the insurance, or letting me sit there for a half hour while nobody else is waiting and then telling me they don't have the med in stock- and they are not the least bit helpful. I am not excited about having to deal with a "free" meter with a q that needs to be filled in and an RR printing out and 3 transactions... the other ladies are used to me. Will they let you walk meters up to the front check-out or do you have to pay for them back at the pharm counter? Please please please let somebody tell me I can pay for them up front. |

I got 2 last week, and paid for them up front with the rest of my stuff. But I would suppose it would depend on the WAGs. Some pharmacies may require that it be paid for back there. HTH |

I had to ask for 2 that were behind the pharmacy counter, but I was able to take them to the front counter to pay for them.

Yes, pay for them up front; just ask the pharm tech for the meters and that you are paying up front, maybe mention you are still shopping. It should not be a problem. In fact, if you read one of my posts from last week, my experience highlights why paying up front is probably better! Cheers! |

I always pay for them up front. I figure that if I run into a problem with the RR, I'd rather deal with the cashier up front than whoever it is in the pharmacy.

At least at the pharmacy I work at (WalMart). Because if the register up front gets tied up, then almost any employee that is register trained can open up another register. With a lot of pharmacies, all (pharmacy) employees have to have gone through information/training wrt HIPAA rules and regulations (privacy act). And thus pharmacy can't always 'draft' other register trained employees to help b/c of the HIPAA part. Della |

| questions about contor/bayer meter purchase
I had two questions...The first one is, my Q for the meter is up to $30 off. Will it beep and they will adjust it down and does a manager have to be called over? 2nd ? Can I buy the meter for 14.99 - 14.99 MQ and not buy anything else and it will be free? Or do I need a filler? And if anyone can explain the filler when using RRs I would so appreciate it. TIA |

Since it is up to $30 they will put in the price of the item at $!4.99. If you state has tax then you will only be charged tax otherwise it's absolutely free! You don't need a filler with MFQ only the RR's and that is when using an RR as part of your payment in a transaction when the coupons may exceed the amount of items you are purchasing. HTH let me know if I need to clarify it.

Yes, the register will beep. Some cashiers know how to make the adjustment and some will require manager assistance. Yes, you can get the meter for free with your coupon and you will get the $5 RR. Depending on your location, you may or may not have to pay tax on the meter. Fillers are only needed if the number of coupons/RR's you are using exceeds the number of items you are purchasing. ETA: Sorry Alexdur85...I didn't mean to be redundant!

It should work just like a BOGO Q where they have to enter the amount of the meter and write the price on the Q. You won't have to use a filler because you have 1 item and 1 Q. Fillers are used when say you have an item for $2, you have a $.75/1 Q and a $1 rr. You'd need a cheap filler item because RRs count as Qs and you have 1 item and 2 Qs then. You have to have as many items as you have Qs/RRs. IVC (Wags Qs) will not count towards the total # of Qs as long as they are handed last. |

LOL..well at least I know I was right! Sometimes it takes a different way of explaining something so don't feel bad by typing in something similar!

I have a question about this coupon too...in the fine print it says it may only be used in the region it was given out in (or something like that..but you can read it and see what I mean please ) so will it not be accepted or will the store not get redeemed for it if I use it here when I got it in a trade from another state?

I would like to know if you can get 2 with 1 coupon because its up to $30 off and the meters are $14.99 each. I donate them to seniors so I like to get as many as I can. Thanks!! |

No, you can't get 2 with 1 q because they have to write the serial number of the monitor on the q to be reimbursed. I usually write the serial # on the coupon, and let the cashier write in the price. I always ask the cashier to double check that I wrote it down right though (old eyes can't see those small numbers so well).

I don't know fredysmama because I get Tahoe and Truckee papers and they have the meter Q but no meter Q in the Reno paper so I'm using it since it's close enough.

| That's a great place to donate them. Another one is the women's shelters, as women who have diabetes will need them since they most likely couldn't take them along when they escaped in a hurry.
