The Target IP's worked fine and cashier said it was ok to use 4 coupons even on the FREE and my 3 MQ's worked fine. I wish I had more of those $1.00/1 MQ that were inside my cereal boxes.

Like most people I don't need anymore cereal. But I do volunteer at the Food Bank and they can always use cereal. It's one of the items that everyone gets.
Plus if it has the tokens, I keep the tokens and donate the bag of cereal.

here's a list of some of the cereals at my store (but some are NOT priced at $2.66, they are higher): raisin bran (3 var's), rice krispies (reg. & cocoa), Special K (a lot of var's), Smart start, corn pops, frosted flakes, frosted mini wheats, and that's all i can think of now... good luck! i'm headed back w/ q's to get them there r IP's for some of the cereals...

You could price match and get them for free. Our Giant (which I think in other areas is the same as Stop and Shop) has Kellogg's on sale for 2/$4

There are several stores with $2 on certain Kellogs cereals. (Mine is a local IGA, I've heard others mention CUB and CVS, I think). Both Froot Loops and Apple Jacks were included in my price match. I used a $1 man q (just for those two) and $1 Target q. Made them free. I am going back. Maybe I can get the 4th box (the free one) as a different flavor!

it's not your Target deciding not to be able to use the Target coupon on the free box, it's the computer system. My Target tried (and I had a GSTL checking me out) and the computer said "Target Coupon not allowed on free item"

Yes, I agree, it is the computer system. I bought 4 boxes of mini wheats and gave 4 Target Qs. When the 4th was scanned, a message came up on the screen that said "May not use a coupon for a free item."

I did this deal today and got the same thing the register said I could not use a coupon on a free item. I wonder why some Target's computer systems let it go through?

I ran this deal twice this morning and I was able to use $1.00/1 on all 4 boxes, but I went back later this evening and I too got the "coupon cannot be used on FREE item" on the cashiers screen. Bummer! But I was still able to use a MQ on the "FREE" box.
