Sleepy...can I do the Thera Flu SS ($9MM) with the Lubriderm Deal ($5.xxMM) at the same time?

3 SF Night Time Thera Flu $5/ea

Would I still need the dial hand soap? Since the total after the Q's for the lubriderm is an OOP of $2.37? So would that make the OOP $.52 + tax for me...with a MM of $14.xx? Do you see a problem with this scenario?

One more quick question on my last post. Is the mascara in Trans. #1 the same as the mascara in Trans #2? Just wondering because you used the WAGS Q for both but didn't note in Trans #1 that you received the $5RR.

Only the Pure Blends mascara (lip gloss, eye shadow, etc.) will give you a $5 RR. You cannot use the $4 WAGS Q for the Pure Blends. The WAGS Q is for the One Coast mascara only.

Thanks TJ1234. With that info it looks to me like using the $4 Q on the one coat with the BOGO/BOGO 1/2 is the better deal. Or buy the foundation then get the mascara 1/2 off and still get the $5RR. I think I read on another post that buying the foundation will get the true blend mascara 1/2 off producing both RRs. OK I think I am thoroughly confused now and just when I'm getting ready for triples at HT this week. My brain is on overload!

For me, the better deal was the Pure Blends makeup/foundation w/ the Pure Blends mascara. My stores are doing BOGO Free, not BOGO 50%. I did the Pure Blends deal twice (once w/ mascara and once w/ lip gloss) and came out $5 dollars ahead before tax on each transaction (10RR (for the foundation) and 5 RR (for the mascara/lip gloss) minus 10 = 5 RRs), w/out having to use one coupon (whoo hoo!!!!), whereas w/ the One Coat, I came out only $1.01 ahead on each transaction before tax (and that's only after using the $4 WAGS Q).

I did end up doing the One Coat deal (although I didn't need more mascara and didn't want to pay tax for something I didn't personally need or want) b/c I really needed milk....LOL! I purchased 4 One Coat mascaras (and that gave me $2.02 overage). I used the $2.02 overage to pay for my 1/2 gallon of milk. I ended up paying less in tax for the mascaras then I would have had I just paid out right for the milk.

Ok I just got back from a lunch break run to HT and WAGS and couldn't resist posting about my great experience. After all my questions (and great replies) this morning I finally decided to get one foundation and one pure blends mascara. The shelf tags were marked BOGo 1/2 off. So I figure it would be about a .50 MM, tax included. I decided to ask the BA if she had any coupons for the Almay (have never done this before) and she said I think I think I do but its for the pure blends. BINGO! She then pulls out a little box full of clipped coupons and tear pads and gave me two for $1 off. She checks me out there and I felt like I had one the lottery when the mascara rang up BOGO FREE. I hope they get some more in because I am definitely doing that one again. I got the last black mascara but now that I know its ringing up free I can do the shadow and lip gloss too. YEAH!

Thanks for the deals, Sleepy. I am not sure what happened yesterday. I got 3 of the SF Theraflu and used all the right Qs so my subtotal was like .14 but I only got 3 RR for the Theraflu and not 8. Is that happening to anyone else?

the 2 stores i've tried in houston (one in the galleria area and one in the BW/45S area) had the almay products ringing up bogo 50% off... but it was still a good deal for me:

One of the great things about the Almay One coat deal is that since we are only using Walgreens coupons, we dont even have to pay tax. The Walgreens coupons are just like getting a sale price on the item. Free without tax is the best kind of free there is

Edit, nevermind, for some reason the coupon is working as a manufacture coupon, that's weird though because manu coupons dont duplicate like wags ones, and they have way more than 4 numbers on the barcode.

The WAGS coupon for the One Coat shows up on my receipt as "MFGC"..... Therefore I ended up paying tax on 1/2 of the mascaras I purchased (the non free ones). HTH.

I know what you are talking about those had $1 coupon in them for J&J red cross products and those coupons expired on 9/30/09. These blinkies were found in grocery story and they came out of the machine they state $3/2 J&J red cross products.

Ok so I was misinformed and thought it was confirmed that the $8 RR was working for the deal. Well I didn't personally do the deal this week so I didn't pick up on it til now. It depends on your store. Some stores are ringing up BOGO some are ringing up BOGO50%. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to it. Anyway before I figure out my scenarios I have them ring up two pure blends items and hit total so I can see if they ring up BOGO or BOGO50%. Good luck!
