| anyone else having trouble??
I have been buying on ebay and they keep doing this... they keep taking what I buy away...after I win the bid they send me a message saying this.. Unfortunately, eBay has removed this auction-style listing ...blah blah blah.. this is just getting out of hand, then I go back and the person has it relisted?? what is up with that?? oh and of course listed at a higher price!!!

I had that happen to me at Christmas. I had already paid with Paypal and the seller refunded my money. It was very odd that she had 11 items one moment and none the next. (yet the auction was still listed???) I don't get it....but I have stopped ebaying for the most part...this was just a LDE for a specific item. This just confirmed that I am over ebay. |

eBay is getting out of hand period! The fees are going up ~ what is it to list an item $.45 or something ~ I feel that I have to jack up my s/h to cover my fees (since final value fee is on selling price, tack on the extra to s/h to avoid fees on fees!) I have been trying to sell some of my extras on a on-line garage sale group on Yahoo. I have lots of stuff to clean out ~ but between the fees and then the non-paying bidders ~ it just isn't worth the time! |

This is why I tend to sell things on Amazon. I don't know, honestly, if you can sell used things on Amazon, however. Overstock.com has auctions but I don't know if they have the traffic on their auction site to make sales. I think it's worth checking out. I am not a fan of the money hungry e-bay. Sometimes it's the only place to find something. Otherwise, I find I can usually find a better deal at other sites. I stopped being a seller on ebay a while ago because I would hardly ever turn any sort of profit.

The reason they end the auctions is because the seller is not following ebays or the law. There was a seller that used my picture and I asked her to stop and she was really rude so I reported her and ebay ended the auction. There are all kinds of reasons, usually the seller is doing somethig they aren't suppose to do or selling something that you can't legally sell. I've been selling on ebay for 7 years and can't recall a time when I didn't have an auction going. I think ebay is fantastic!!
