I emailed Kohl's about whether or not they took manufacturer's coupons, and they told me I had to contact my local store.

That seems kind of weird...I would think they (as a company) would either take them or not. Has anyone had any experience using them at their Kohl's?

That's funny I emailed them and they told me that they did not accept manufacturers coupons at all.??? My local store refused mine.

I just called my local store; Lisbon, Connecticut and they said they would take manufacturer's coupons including IP. I'm on my way there now to pick up some Christmas toys.

I was able to use Leapfrog coupons at the Kohls by my house. I need to go back to use a few of the sit and spin coupons for a toy drive.

It sounds like coprorate was right- its a YMMV. Although I agree it sounds like it should be a policy. But even then, stores make up their own rules....

I called my Kohl's about this issue when the leapfrog coupons were out and they said yes. When I went it in took a while for them to figure out how to use it but they did get it to work. I think they just ended up taking $4 off the price and entering into the system that way because it would not scan.

I used manufacturers coupons on toys at Kohls. They will accept them but the computers will not scan them, so the sales associates have to manually take the amount off.

I called my sotre they said yes they do take,but when i went there and using coupon the sales associates said no,then he called someone ,she also said no.Came back with empty hand.I was so mad....waste of time

They don't accept them at my local store, my mom tried to use one on a playskool toy.

I was able to use one at my store, but they had to manually put it in. It would not scan.

I agree that it's weird that they don't have one acceptance policy. B/c they have to send them to the manufacturer (or the manu's clearinghouse) for processing and reimbursement. That should be happening through corporate. I can't imagine each store mgr is sitting down with the coupons they've collected and mailing them out to each manufacturer. If corporate says it's up to each store and they don't scan at their registers, do you think they're not submitting them for reimbursement? Weird.

I was pretty sure I'd used MQ's at Kohl's before... so I went and tried tonight because when I was there yesterday, I saw they had Fisher Price Trio at 40% off... so the $9.99 Airplane box was only $5.99 and the $12.99 Crazy Creatures was only $7.79. I had the $5 off Trio IP's and ended up getting the Airplane ones for just $.99 each!!! I then used some of the $5 Kohl's Q from the email sign up to snag some more of them both... paying just $2.79 each for the Crazy Creature ones!! My son is going to have a TON of blocks... I'm so happy!

Finally tally: 13 toys... 7 Crazy Creatures and 6 Airplanes
Value with tax: $161.43
OOP with tax: $27.28
Total Savings: $134.15!!
