Has anyone actually tried using a bogo coupon with a bogo sale to see if it works? I might have to try it because the customer service rep. said it was okay. Free HE would definitely be great.

Also, I noticed the Loreal is Buy 1 get 1 50% off. This would be a good way to get that 100 dollars for the 30 dollar Loreal rebate (because we can actually use 2 coupons instead of just one).

I might have to wait until the previews for Sunday's paper inserts come out and think of some scenarios.

Yes, bogo coupons work nwith ra bogo promotions to get both free.

The BOGO free coupon was in an insert in the newspaper a couple of weeks ago.

I'm not 100% sure, but could it be that the postcard you received that also had the $1 Q had a Q for a free Herbal Essence? I received a postcard last week for a free Herbal Essence (not bogo free) that also had a $1 Q on it.

No, it isn't up to each Rite Aid's discretion. Maybe when you tried it, the cashier didn't know how to do it. I tried it that week too and wasn't able to do it because the cashier and the store manager didn't know how to do it. So I called Customer Service. The District Manager called me back and told me that he talked to the store manager and let him know how to do a bogo free coupon when combined with a bogo free item that is on sale at Rite Aid. It is now written up in Rite Aid's corporate policy.

This was posted in the Rite Aid Coupon Policy under post 35 that is stickied:
"When items are featured on a Buy One, Get One Free promotion, up to two
coupons can be used against the items being purchased, as long as the net
price does not go below zero for the item being purchased. BOGO coupons may also be used, as long as they are not used in an excessive amount (no more than 2 BOGO coupons per transaction)."

Also, if you scroll down to the thread that IAmFrugal started here, you will find what she was able to find out for us and a policy that you can open up and print out. The policy is near the bottom of her post. It is an attached file. It is in post one. Here is a link:

What I was told by the district manager was: when they scan the coupon and it beeps, they need to input the price and write it on the coupon. What you might want to do if you have trouble using a bogo free coupon on a bogo free item is to call Rite Aid's customer service. The number is 1-800-748-3243. I was also told that I (or you) can have the cashier call the Rite Aid customer service # and they will be happy to help the cashier.

For those of you that need the Herbal Essence BoGO coupon, there is one in Kmarts monthly ad valid until 11/9. I used it at Rite Aid with no problems before the Bogo sale. I plan on going to Kmart today and picking up a ton of ads and get a ton of Herbal Essence. Woo Hoo!

$4.99x6 Herbal Essences products = $30
$5 filler item = $35
- 5/25
- $15 Rite Aid BOGO sale
- $15 HE BOGO coupons

total = tax ?

So i ordered 16 HE q's off ebay and the person didnt send them until yesterday(saturday here in washington state) and she lives all the way in florida!! Do you guys think there will be any more HE left in stores by Friday which is when I'll probably get my q's finally? I just wanna cry

How many Riteaid do you have in your area?

I had the same thing happen to me with the last HE sale and there was still a decent amount left for me by the time I got the coupons, but I do have 3 Riteaids within 3 miles(though 2 of them are the older much smaller stores).
