I just wanted to double-check with you all, I think this is a YMMV thing.

One of the local grocery stores had a lot of BOGO deals this week. The ad does state what the price is for the items.

I hadn't ever tried to price-match BOGOs before at WM so when I got there I stopped at a cashier I knew and asked her what the policy was. She called over the CSM who wasn't sure but they said they'd find out really quick for me.

They checked and were told that WM doesn't price-match BOGO's at all, of any kind.

It wasn't a huge deal, I found out ahead of time so at least I didn't put the stuff in my cart and then have to deal with the whole mess at check-out. But I was just wondering if anyone else had any experience with price-matching BOGO's at WalMart, if that really is corporate policy or if they're making things up.

Walmart does not match B1G1 ads it is considered a Gimmick. That is what they are supposed to do . That being said I am sure someone will post they they have been successful on matching b1g1 ads.
