Fall gift of savings ideas?

I need to spend $24 more to get my $20 rebate but I can't afford to really "spend" that much. I have tons of insert coupons but no really high value ones. Anybody know a good scenario to help me finish it off before the end of the week? The Herbal Essence deal is a no go because it is not on sale here.

Are you ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN that it's not on sale there? When I go to the RiteAid site, and input the zip code for Suwanee GA (just so happens to be a zip code that I know), I can look at the ad for your area ... and the Herbal Essence is right there on page 7.

Do you mean you don't have $24 to put out right now (totally understandable) or your just don't want to blow $24 at Rite Aid to qualify for the gift card? If I were you, I'd buy enough of the Frees after Rebate to reach $20, and then buy 3 bags of Hersheys candy. Use the $5/$20 video values and the $1 off 3 bags of Hersheys (in last week's insert). After rebates it's all free (more a money maker if you have any q's on the FAR stuff) and you'd have spent the $25 to qualify for the GOS gift card. I qualified for the GOS gift card last week, but I've still been doing this because I need lots of Halloween candy and I like free! Hope that helps a little!

That would be a good idea, I'm short on cash this week so I'm looking for something with a low OOP. Thanks though

Do you have a prescription you can transfer to get the RA gift card to pay for the FAR purchases?

3 M5 Magnum Razors-6.99 each
3 razor refills-free
Comtrex 3.99
total=$24.96

Use $5/20
3- $3 M5 Magum Razor IP
3-$3 Refills IP
$2 Comtrex peelie

Final OOP -.04 so you may have to pick up a small filler item

If your store doesn't carry the razors or have them on sale what about the Airwicks? Do you have any of the $6 coupons and does your store have them on sale?

If you can't find the Comtrex peelies you can replace that with the Children's Throat cooler, but since it is a $1 cheaper you need a slightly more expensive filler.

I was going to suggest the Airwicks as well. Even if you only have the $4 q (that's all that was in my insert) it makes them only $1 each.

5 Airwicks @ 4.99= $24.95
Small filler (maybe Act II popcorn balls?) $2.00
-5/25 q
-5 $4 qs

$2.00 oop
