So the first time I did the Huggies deal at a Rite Aid near work, everything went through fine. 3 Huggies $3.00 IPs, 3 Huggies video values $2.00 q's, and the $5/$25. Then I go to the Rite Aid closest to my house today to do the deal one more time. The manager rang me up, told me I couldn't use ANY of the video values coupons because they are manufacturer's coupons and you can't use 2 manq's for one item. I told her that the barcode started with RC and that I couldn't take those q's and use them at any other store than Rite Aid so they can't be true manufacturer's coupons. She then repeated what she said above and added that "they just started cracking down on these" and she didn't want to lose her job over it!! My last statement before I gave up was, "That's weird. I just did this transaction at another Rite Aid and had no problems using all of these coupons and they went through the system just fine." I did send an email, this really frustrated me. I'm not sure I would have done this deal without those q's, I paid $6 more than the last transaction. I still have the receipt and I think I might return them.

I was prepared for a cashier to say I could only use one since it states that on the coupon. But I wasn't prepared to not be able to use any!! Sorry about writing a book, I'm just annoyed!!

That's annoying-especially since it's the manager. I have several RA in my area, and some are just more customer friendly.

I totally relate. Ive pretty much stopped spending money at RA and started going to CVS. Ive had nothing but coupon problems at RA.

check with corporate - they told me as long as the coupon has a RC NUMBER at the bottom you could use it with the manufacturers coupon

You're exactly right. I was actually reading a blog and it was explained PERFECTLY. In just about every ad each week there's at least one In-Ad coupon that says:

Sale Price
- In ad coupon
- Manufacturer's coupon in this Sunday's paper
= Final Price

It says you can use both in their own ad!! It's absolutely crazy to me how a store manager would not know this and would actually be afraid of losing her job over it!

I actually had to pull out the policy at 3 stores yesterday. These people love making up their own rules.
