I accidentally left my legal pad and envelope of coupons at the Kroger on University in Denton, TX... Luckily I had left my main binder in my car.

I am absolutely sick about this. I am hoping that whoever found them actually used them. It was an envelope full of coupon matches for the mega sale (enough for multiple Kroger trips). My husband thinks I am crazy for being this upset. I thought I would vent here since I know all of you will understand. Tears... two weeks with no kroger deals. What will I do?

Anyway just wanted to remind everyone that it is a good idea to mark your binders/notepads/envelopes with a "if found please call xxx-xxx-xxxx". I have lost a binder before and it was returned untouched by a good Samaritan.

Oh, no. I really feel for you. Did you call the store back to see if someone turned them in? Don't be upset with your husband! He probably doesn't understand the time and planning that goes into getting coupons organized for a sale.

That sucks. Like Tashaboo said, did you call the store? Maybe an employee found it and took it to the CS desk.

I have my binders marked in several places with my contact information. I almost left my small binder -the one reserved for special events - at HT the other day during triples. Luckily I realized I'd left it before I got to the car and I went back in and it was still sitting where I had put it.

My DH laughed when he saw I labeled my binder with a If found, please call xxx-xx-xx-xxxx sticker. That binder is priceless!

that's a good idea, I think I will put a label on mine. I left mine in the shopping cart when I put it up at Wal mart one day then when I got to my next stop, I realized what I had done. I rushed right back to Wal Mart and luckily it was still sitting there.

Sorry that happened to you. I lost my binder a few months ago, so I can feel your pain. If you pm me with the coupons that you need for the mega sale, maybe I can mail some to you if I have extras. Hope that helps

Also, one more thing, if you keep your ECB's from CVS in your binder, do not write the phone number that is linked to your CVS card on your binder. They link your ECB's with your phone #, and you definately don't want someone else to be able to use your ECB's if it gets lost or stolen!
