I havent been doing this coupon thing too long and I havent come across this one before-If you have a B1G1 coupon and they have a B1G1 sale, does that mean you can get both for free? I have about 10 of those B1G1 reese's coupons, so how many can I get with that with Rite Aid B1G1 sale? confused

You should be able to get 20 free (with 10 coupons). I have done this before at rite aid with various BOGO coupons (did it last week with covergirl and have done it in the past with candy). It is a YMMV situation since all managers are different. However, it has been reported in other posts that when people call rite aid about their official policy, they say that they are supposed to accept BOGO coupons on a BOGO sale. Good Luck!! -Christina |

my coupon says max value is $.79 and aren't the candy bars for $.88? I can see my rite aid having hissy fits about that!

You were both right! I was able to get 20 packs of reeses and use my coupons but I had to pay .09 each (plus tax) and to make the deal even sweeter I had 5 coupons for get a free 20 oz Dr. Pepper when you buy any two candy bars PLUS they had all the school supplies marked down 75% off so I walked out of there with three bags full of stuff for only $12, sweet!!! (literally)

If you have the .55/1 coupons it's a money maker this week since they are b1g1f. If you have the b1g1f coupons, you should get 2 free for each coupon.

I bought 10 reese's and used the 55 cents off coupons. Worked great! Although I also have b1g1 coupons up to 99 cents that I found at weis grocery store (keep an eye out at your grocery store too). So I think I'm going back for more since these coupons expire in a week! I just freeze them so we can be the cool neighbors giving out full size candy bars :-) hehe

How does the store BOGO work with the BOGO coupon to make it free? I have seen that mentioned alot but haven't tried it yet. I know some stores ring the item at full price and the other free so I'm guessing the full price is taken off making them both free. But if the grocery store charges half price for each item will the cashier write in the original price and take that off to make them free as well? THANKS!

I'm not really sure how it works at the grocery store. At Rite Aid they ring the second one as free and at the end of the receipt, it subtracted .79 for each coupon that I had.

My rite aid is rediculious. I used the BOGO Q's today with the BOGO sale and the cashier put my coupons in for .44 cents instead of .88! What the heck?!!? Ugh, sorry that was just irritating to me!

I used my BOGO yesterday and they would not let me get them for free. I purchased 6, got three free from store sale. Manager said that since I only paid for three that I could only use 1 q. Didn't quite understand this when he was explaining, but he said something to the cashier about another candy bar. After my transaction was fiinished I questioned her regarding this and she said that I could have used one more q to get another one free per the manager since I paid for 3, she neglected to tell me this before she finished my transaction. So basically they are saying that if the store has a BOGO and you have a BOGO it basically works as buy 1 get 2 free, one from store sale, one from q. Didn't make an issue of it since I had the $2 discover card q that I had used and then my Discover card would not scan, so had to use my MC but the $2 was not taken back off the order.
