If the item is .50 and you have a .55/1 will they take it? Will it beep?
I know at Wags ig you have 10 items @ .50 = $5 you could use (9) .55/1 coupons and just pay .05 for all 10 items. Or you could buy 11 = 5.50 use 10 .55/1 coupon = free
But how about Riteaid? If I keep the total amount of product over the total amount of qs presented can I use them even though the item is .05 less than the coupon?

I've bought the reese whipps when they were on sale. No beeps. Got the overage too using coupon that was more than amount. (this was several months ago). Not sure if I helped you, but I would think its up to the cashier to catch it. I know the register never beeps for me.

I have often used a $1 coupon on an item priced at .99. I just make sure that I have some other filler item to bring the grand total over the coupon amount, and it works just fine.

I think it all depends how closely your cashier checks the coupons b/c at mine they go over every inch and will even check the price (what a waste of paper imo) but even if its .99 and you have the $1.00 q they will not take it. I keep trying tho....I'm always asking them and mgr the question have you ever seen a .99 q.

I've used $1.00/1 q's on the Mentos when they are on sale for .99. I bought 10 and all q's went through with no beeps except for the 10th q. so I just paid the difference! I forgot to use a filler!

I rarely ever shop at Rite aid but I know that if it beeps they wont take it regardless if its correct or not so I want a beep free experience.
