Interesting 2Pock (and laughing at the title of the post)! I can't afford either of those tv's at this time, so it's a moot point. However, were I financially able to acquire such an outstanding TV for myself (and the family too, of course, don't forget about them), I would probably choose the larger screen from BestBuy. I prefer the plasma over the LCD (though there are plenty of people who disagree with me). I also prefer the name Panasonic over Olevia. If I were unable to get the BestBuy tv (due to availability or whatever), I would look at the Target one, no doubt. Thanks for the post!

My first thought "heck no" ~ but after reading, go with the bigger ~ the smaller will get outdated much quicer and be upgraded, so go bigger and get more enjoyment and longer use.

The other thing that is interesting about these bigger plasma TV's is that the price seems to increase almost exponentially as the screen size gets bigger. For example, the difference between the 42" plasma and the 50" plasma is around a 50% increase ($1500 for the 42" HP vs $2300 for the 50" HP, $1800 for the 42" LG vs $2700 for the 50" LG). (These are full prices from bestbuy.com).
