In my mail box today was something that really sparked my interest. It was a special announcement for the next Mega Sales Event.

9/14/09 through 9/27/09 Save $5.00 instantly off your grocery bill when you buy 10 participating items. This event is nothing new, Kroger runs these events about once a month. What really caught my attention was that the flyer included a list of items in the event. From Kraft to Nestle there are plenty of coupon matchable items! Depending on the sale prices, there could be some pretty sweet deals to be had. I’d start by printing the Oscar Mayer hot dog coupons from smartsource & Juicy Juice coupons from their website.

(If you've received the Nestle Calander booklet or the Nabisco Calander booklet, this savings event may be a good time to use their coupons.)

Like I mentioned at the bottom of my post, I received the flyer in Ohio. I'd guess we're Midwest but who knows how Kroger has us listed. I tried checking my Kroger account online but it doesn't seem to list my promo area. Neither does my weekly sales ad.

Coupons.com has a $.60 off Ready to eat Jello coupon available right now that will not expire until 10/9/09....

Another good coupon to get would be the $1.00 off Kraft Bagel-Fuls (http://brands.kraftfoods.com/bagelfuls/) I printed one today & it expires 9/24/09.

It took a long long time for me to receive my Nestle booklet, in-fact it only just arrived 4 days ago. Perhaps yours is still on the way!

I also found the Nabisco booklet at Kroger today... they had a card board box display of Nabisco cookies set up at the end of the cookie isle. At the top were 10 Nabisco coupon calendars. I only took one so others could have a chance.

If anyone lives in Fairborn, OH head over to Kroger and get yourself a copy!

On the Nabisco calendar, make sure you read the small print. Most are only valid during certain months. I didn't notice it at first but when I was putting my list together it caught my eye. Kinda a bummer.


I got the mailer from Kroger today too. I was pretty excited! Looks like a good event with different items to stock up on. Hope there are some good matchups!!
