you can use this online, but the items cannot be sale/clearance =( I have messed with the codes all night. you also have to pay shipping unless you can find an item that will ship to a store near you...if you can find the items...I'd be all over that

I used one Friday, but the store said it was the last/only one they'd accept - said they'd gotten an email that the printed copies were fraudulent.

I wanted to use it yesterday, and they had a sign stating they could not accept it. The cashier was apologetic and stated that their computers "don't like it".

i just spoke to customer service. They did not tell me it was fraud at all. She read off their statement about how it is not expired, but discontinued because the coupon was being abused. They intended it to be for 1 time use only. She was nothing but pleasant and I am glad I called them Moral of the story - greed killed the deal.

Sears DID originalyy say it was a fradulent coupon! I took a picture of the sign and have the e mail.

When the newscaster went to interview someone at Sears they first said they had no clue about any coupon or what he was talking about. Then they told him only corporate could talk to him. I think they cal lthat "BACK PEDDLING!". So, he gave corporate a chance to set things straight and they had "NO COMMENT. But we do apologize to our customers."

Well, that just makes everything all right now doesn't it! NOT!!!!

Meanwhile, my FIL is trying to get it on YOUTUBE through something he knows how to do.

That is pretty standard. They don't want the wrong people giving the wrong statements. Only authorized people can deal with the media and so forth.

I am not saying I agree with Sears claiming fraud, but their could have been a miscommunication going on. Who knows what really happened other than the obvious abuse that went on in a matter of 3 days. The real problem is that some people have no restraint and was using the coupon WAY too many times. This caused them to have to pull it. That whole "one rotten apple spoils the bunch" thing. Lesson learned for sears - use Bricks or other control programs. I don't think it is a reason to attack sears. There will be other deals to be had. just my 2 cents...

Well I went last Thurs. on lunch break but ended up running out of time before the manager came to override my transaction after the message come up coupon expired. Before I started picking my clothes out I went up to the girl and I asked if I could use more than 1 and she said sure - use as many as you want I just have to ring them up separately - She even said that she used a whole bunch the day before. I understand maybe they just meant for one but they should state one per customer only and also the cashier were using more than one too. Needless to say I missed out on this because I ran out of time and would have been late back to work so had tell her I would come back Saturday - she told me that is fine just bring the coupons back Saturday and could use them then. (This was before I read that this coupon was no longer being took any more) Then Saturday there was a sign on every clothes rack in the juniors department that the 10 of 10 coupon from sears was no longer being accepted unless it came from the Seventeen magazine. The casheir was nice enough to give me one of the actual coupons from the seventeen magaize to use so that was very thoughtful and nice of her so I cant complain too much. But did notice yesterday the coupon was back up on the website after it had been pulled.
