This weeks ad shows ribs for $0.97/lb. (regularly $1.99/lb.) so if you buy just over 10 pounds, and use the $5/$20 meat FLIP you should be able to get it for around $5. (YMMV!)

Also, boneless chicken breast fillets or tenders are on sale for $1.67/lb. (reg. $4.89-$4.99/lb.) so buy a little over 4 lbs. and use the $5/$20 meat FLIP and pay less than $2! (YMMV!)

Yes, I am mourning the loss of the GS FLIP. It is a sad, sad day! But, there will always be more great deals. I'm looking forward to filling my freezer this week with lots of meat! Just in time for a Labor Day cookout, too

Oh - I have a $3.00 off $10 Beef/Chicken from a tear pad...that means I could get 2lbs of chicken and 5 lbs of ribs for around .25 cents. Too bad my freezer is busting at the seams!

Do you happen to know where you found that tear pad??
You could always buy that and eat it this week, should be okay in the fridge for a few days since your freezer is full!! I would so love to invest in a deep freeze, but I have no clue where I would put it.....the dining room perhaps

I got them in a trade. I think the tearpad came from FL but I'm not sure because it works everywhere and isn't brand or store specific.

We have a seperate freezer in the basement but its one of those that's about 1/2 the size of a regular fridge and opens from the front. I'm really bumming now because when I went to FL at lunch the crab legs were some of the nicesest I've seen in years!

It's on the very front page of my ad, unless the prices are regional are something.

But, then again, I noticed you are in VA (so am I) so I would think it should be the same. The ribs are advertised right below the chicken on the front page.

My ad is for the pork back ribs @ $2.99/lb. We also have Fresh Chicken Leg Quarters for 39 cents/lb.

I may go get some of those and throw them on the grill this weekend and watch some football

Ran to one of my FL's today. (Hitting another tonight hopefully) Picked up just over 4 pounds of boneless chicken. Threw in some bananas while I was at it.

Got the the register though and the lady just looked at it and said she didn't know if it would work but ran it for me anyways and it cleared. I'm hoping I don't have that same thing tonight. It makes me feel like I'm doing something wrong and I'm so nervous one of these days I'll get turned away then have to talk to the manager. They already don't take other IP's. Hoping I don't run into that same situation at the other store.

Anyways! For 2 3/4lbs. bananas and over 4 pounds chicken breast, I spend $3.15!

I went to the other store tonight. Had no problems this time. Grabbed the last pork ribs (my other store was already picked clean) and 2 more packages of chicken.
