News flash on blades. The women's Quattro blades will be on B1G1 free the week of 9/6 and with coupons they'll be as cheap as just the razors. It's a good time to stock up on blades.

With Glade giving their items away (after coupons/ECBs), the other companies are going to have to do something better than $14.99. Even with a $4 coupon and a $2 ECB, that's still out of the range than most of us will be willing to pay to try out any air freshening item no matter how cool they try to make it look.

The only thing is with your scenario is that I don't think that folks get multiples of the same CRT (I could be wrong -- I don't get them so I'm definitely no expert). If that's the case then there would only be one $2 CRT subtracted.

(And since the $3/$12 coupon is considered an open ended offer, it really can't be combined with the $4/$20 ReadyFill. -- Some cashiers will let it fly while others won't. It's CVS policy that they can't be combined so it's definitely a YMMV sort of thing on that... )

Good luck on your first CVS trip!

One thing that will really help you out is to write out what you want to buy and to clip your coupons to that list (especially if you have a CVS $/$$ that you need to reach a certain $ total). Then as you put the items into your cart, cross them off your list and write the price down. Keep a running total of the prices of you do have a $/$$ coupon and you won't wonder if you have enough to meet the requirement for the coupon.

For the first few transactions, keep the list short (if possible) so you don't get confused or frustrated. And be flexible if something is out of stock (highly likely).

You can check your receipt to make sure that all your ECBs printed in the quiet of your car if you prefer -- it's easier to go back in right away if there's a problem. Most cashiers and managers are absolutely the best and are willing to work with the customer to fix any problems.
