Randomly an in-store ECB deal like the recent Playtex/Pantene deals slip through and work online. It is neither predictable or guarunteed. The triple ECB is tripling your quarterly ecb buck. (the ones you earn for spending $ usually 2% on most things). It will not mean you will get triple the ecb on say the Playtex ecb deal.HTH

I think the key terms are "Your ExtraBucks will print on your store receipt starting 1/1/07" ... sounds like they are talking about tripling the quarterly 2% deal.

I tried to get the cashier to input the coupon code for me today, but it kept giving him the error basically that says "coupon value is greater than the order".

Made no sense, so I just told him to skip it.

My cashier got that too. I grabbed a clip thing that was on clearance for .10 and then she tried and it went thru fine. I had forgot to count the email coupon in my cvs coupon count not sure what I was thinking

The cashier also asked if I knew if they were card specific and I said no...so she said she was gonna use it too

I got it too, usually when they do these triple things online it only means the quarterly ECBs, not the deals, so I'm guessing that's what this one means also, but still a good deal.

I bought 3 gallons of milk, 2 half-gallons of OJ, and 3 dozen eggs. Used an ECB to pay for it. STILL, wouldn't take this silly little coupon code. Do you think if I would have grabbed a $0.10 clip thing? Oh beans, never mind!

I am just hoping that if we do have to take that coupon in everytime we shop that it does not give the cashier any grief

Finally got it to work this morning. I had a cashier who was an even bigger moron (can I say that and still be an "ambassador of goodwill" as I am?) than the one from yesterday ... yet somehow, he got it through.

And MKach, if you read the thing, it only has to be entered once, and is then effective thru whatever date in December.

this is how i think they do it- i'm in a savon- to- cvs area, and we get double bucks- i started watching- and i think they just credit as double spending- when i spend oop 65 cents for the stinkin' candy bar ( i blame my thighs on cvs, really i do).. i notice the account where they keep track goes up by 1.30. so- just watch yours- mark down what it says some night, the 8th time you log in to check, and then see how much it goes up- of course, you have to also note how much you SPENT that day- do the math. i just have a feeling that if you spend one dollar, the spending chart will go up by three dollars. i could be wrong- it has happened before- but it seems that way to me.

sure- glad to- every time you pass actual u.s. currency across the counter to the register, cvs makes a note, and every 3 months, they give you back 2 cents for every dollar you gave them. ( from now till december, they are going to give you back 6 cents out of every real dollar you give them.) so, if you spend two dollars there, they will save it up, and give you 12 cents in january. if you spend a hundred dollars there- tho with ecbs i don't see how you COULD...but anyway, if you give them a hundred, they will give you 6 dollars back, in the form of an ecb, in the middle of january. some snowy day- or beautiful warm sunny day, depending on where you pay your property taxes, an ecb will print out with this fine bonus. they have established a maximum. of course- so make sure you do not spend more than THREE thousand dollars there in the next six weeks- or, if you pass 3 grand, get another card. that's all there is to it- they do the math, they keep track, and they give you the bonus.
