If you are playing for the overlap period, you really need to register yourself online, and input your receipts over the internet. (You can do the mail-in thing (forms are in the back of the monthly "Rebate Catalog" that is found at the front of the store, but I am not certain that will get credit for BOTH months, instead of just one.)

I just wanted to re-reiterate what Wendy said in this thread (her posts have been very authoritative and on-point!)

You can buy any VR product, and qualify for the October. But the November is specific, and calls for "facial or eye product" ... so if you are going for the double-dip, make sure you get that type of junk.

Also, there is a $5.00 coupon off any VR product, which is found in the RiteAid coupon booklet (dated Oct 15 - Oct 28). I found a ton of them, right at the front of the store by me. It says "manuf coupon" on the top, but it has an "RC" barcode, and is therefore stackable with other manuf coupons (YMMV if cashier will do it, but you can be assured that the register will accept another manuf coupon as well (like if your RiteAid accepts printables, which mine doesn't)).

I hope this helps someone, and keeps somebody from getting tripped-up. Great posts, Wendy!!

IMO, these are not a good present.
First off, the units you buy at Rite-Aid are likely to be old: there are coffee samples inside boxes, and they are 1-2 yr expired!

When we opened our own first box, we did not care to drink the expired coffee.

If a gift recipient opens such a box, they are likely to feel very disappointed about getting something from a "dusty warehouse". Personally, I would never gift a food item that essentially screams at you "rotten food"!

Ok ok, I know, many would say it is not really rotten yet (dry coffee)...

If you think someone could use a coffeemaker because they drink coffee, they are likely to want it to be fresh...

Furthermore, the coffee pods are outrageously expensive.
Hunting for sales/coupons for these is too much trouble... for many users.

Finally, there are plenty of bad reviews/opinions:
- sometimes it catches on fire if left plugged in for a long time
- sometimes it leaks
- sometimes the water does not get hot enough
- it is very loud
- it takes too much room on counter

There is a good reason why "they" are paying us (overage) to take this product out of the stores.
