Interesting! I haven't shopped at Walgreen's much at all since they discontinued it so maybe other people didn't either & it really impacted sales. I'm not a fan of RRs because you always have to add a filler when paying with the RR & another MFQ.

I'm an EXA at Wags and barely caught it at the end of one of the emails as I was leaving this afternoon. I'm not a big fan of the RR's either, only because it's so confusing for all of us sometimes.

I sure hope the ES program comes back...I miss being able to do the rebates and use the extra Qs along with the mfnctr Qs..not to mention, most of the Qs were pretty holiday specific so we would have had some really great BTS Qs if we still had the ES program going on!! Can't wait!

Thank you for the news. Even if it is just a maybe, it makes me feel good just to know it's being considered. I miss getting to try stuff out for free. And having my ES rebate card to use in the store. So much easier than RR and fillers.

Yeah, my shopping at WG has really gone downhill since the Easysaver died. Heck, I still have $5 on my last GC that was refilled by the ES program. It was great, especially if they have online submittal like RA.

Isn't it harder to roll with them than it is RRs or are there no limits on the number of rebates you can get?

i'm a BA and i agree!
however, i sure do enjoy RRs for my personal use!

You couldn't roll Easy Saver rebates and there was usually a limit of one on each item.

BUT, you could use a coupon on an item and get the full rebate back. Not to mention, if you did it online (or by mail) and had them put it on a gift card - they would add 10% of your rebate on in addition to your full rebate. I miss my gift card!

When you submitted on-line it really was easy. You could add receipts all month and then submit at the end. If you forgot, they gave you a week and then submitted it for you.

I really hope they bring it back - I haven't been shopping much at Wag's, except for the BTS items.

oh I hope it comes back ... I used the esy saver all the time... since the rrs came i havent shopped at wags much and never once had bought items that qualify for the rrs.

Here is my explanation of the Easy Saver books...

They actually help couponers that do not do rebates also. In the front of the book they would have like 50-100 wags coupons that were good for one month. Then the back 20 pages were the rebate that were available.

A lot of times you would find a sale during the month and then be able to combine your wags coupons and manu q's to get it free.

The Easy saver book also had a downfall. The coupons were not clear and some were given a limit of one on using them or told that they had to have one wags q for each item they purchased (not true).

Also if you enjoy rebates (I personally do not) you could add your receipts online and they would send you a check or a Wags GC (with 10% added) to your home. And it takes way less time than Rite Aid.

I am excited to hear it is making a come back!

I emailed the easy saver program and this is the reply:
