FYI, that online Sami coupon beeped at the register and the clerk did not want to take it. Since I'm getting so much anyway, I did not resist

To date, I have 6 bottles of Samy, and the coupon has worked just fine for me each time. Several other people I know in Texas have confirmed that they too have used this coupon. It may be the setting of the register sensitivity...one store in Ft. Worth had a problem scanning it, but pushed it thru. Otherwise, no problems. Only problem I have is that the coupon will use up all your ink, and to me that is not cost efficient. I will not be printing anymore of them!

GBM -- So happy that the 50% bigger Purell are working! I was out of town yesterday and went to a CVS that I have never been to. No Purell on the shelf, but when I asked the mgr, he found some in the back. 50% bigger bottles. I stood there and couldn't remember if those worked or not.... decided I could always return them. They work! Which means on Monday, I will have $15 in Purell caused ECBs That makes my day!

(That and I managed to return all of those nasty LifeFitness chews.... )

I have rotated between 5 CVS's now for the past 2 weeks - and have only been able to find 4 bottles of Pantene ICY in that whole time. Don't give up, dude!! I used up my last of the Pantene cou's not too long ago, and since then, they have totally restocked the shelves at 3 of my stores! I AM DROOLING OVER IT!! I believe the Ice is the new product, so they are gonna work hard to keep it in stock, as part of their product roll-out. And this stuff continues to be 3-for-$10 around here!

I have Playtex/Kotex in embarrassing quantities, my friend! In fact, my initial "circle of friends" who I usually give stuff to, have all said "no mas"! At regular price of $3.27, it would still be profitable if you used the $0.75/1 from the paper or the $1.00/1 printable. Plus, it might help you use a $5/$20 CVS coupon!

But 2Pock, the point of your post is definitely not lost on me ... we Michiganders got hosed again, with no ad this week, but instead some useless little booklet!

Just a quick heads-up. It would appear that they (CVS) have changed the way they are awarding ECB's on VO-5 for this week.


Buy an amount between $3.77 and $5.76, you would get an ECB for $4.00.
Buy an amount of $5.77 or greater, you would get an ECB of $6.00.


In the first week of the month, it was working as follows:
Get up to $6.00 ECB. Not unlimited. LIMIT 1 $6.00 ECB, as follows:
Buy an amount between $3.77 and $5.76, you would get an ECB for $4.00.
Buy an amount of $5.77 or greater, you would get an ECB of $6.00.

Then last week, it changed to unlimited.

But now this week, it seems to have reverted back again to the way it was the first week of October.

Very interesting regarding the Purell.

I bought 3 bottles of Aloe Purell, the 50% extra bottles on Saturday at one store. That was all they had.

I bought 2 bottles of reg sized, plain Purell at another CVS store on Saturday.

I expected a $15 ECB to print on Monday.
Only a $9 ECB printed Monday.
I didn't have time/energy to call CVS Monday or this morning.
This afternoon, I checked out another CVS for Purell (b/c I had a raincheck). I bought 4 (1 aloe 50% more bottle; 3 reg bottles). And a $6 ECB printed out.

I figured b/c I bought all 5 bottles on the same day, they would lump into one big ECB ($15); for some reason - don't konw why or what -- it was split into 2 ECBs ($9 and $6). And, no, I didn't buy anything on Sunday -- didn't even go into a CVS on Sunday -- to trigger a $6 ECB. It has to be from the Purell.

Any thoughts oh great CVS gurus??
