Our Kroger has Kraft cheese (7 or 8 oz blocks) for 0.99 the week of July 5 when you buy 5. (Lesser quantity=1.24/block.)

If you have the 0.50/1 tearpad coupon that is out there and your store doubles or if you still have copies of all those Kraft 2% Cheese $1 IPs, that makes these free or a 0.01 MM.

BUT even better, there is the Kraft Cheese Catalina posted about elsewhere:
buy 5, get $4 OYNO.

So...earn $4.05 for 2.5 lbs of cheese.

Even if you don't have the coupon or don't want to limit your choice to the 2% kind it's for, you would spend 4.95 for 2.5 lbs and get a $4 OYNO, so 0.95 for 2.5 lbs cheese. Not too shabby!

The catalina did not print for me today in Richmond. I bought 2- 2% cheedar blocks, 2 regular cheddar blocks and 1 -2% shredded mozzarella. It was still a great deal.

Call the Catalina company and give them the info on your receipt. I got ONYOs at Gayton Crossing, Short Pump and Broad Street.

It's just the natural, but all those she mentioned should be natural. Mine didn't print this morning either, but I think it was the machine. I'll try to call the co. tomorrow. The manager gave me a $4 gift card to make up for it, but I don't want to run into the same thing each time I try to do it.

The catalina clearly states any block/chunk/shredded natural 6 oz or more. Get $4 off your next order when you buy 5 ($3 when you buy 4, etc.). I wish I had a copy of it to show in the store.

OK, I called the catalina co. about mine that didn't print Sunday and he said that store was not, in fact, participating in this offer, the Hillsborough store in Durham NC. He couldn't tell me which stores were and which weren't.

It's a commentary on AFC that I am now disappointed to only get my cheese free and not be paid for it.

I had no idea that one particular store was not included.. I mean, who decides that?? I am in Fuquay, so right down the road, and I have had NO problems gettinig my CAT when I buy 5 bags/blocks of the natural cheese.

Maybe I should drive to Fuquay. Although it seems as if there must be a closer Kroger doing it; all the other stores around here are (Harris Teeter, Food Lion). HT had a good moneymaker with it a couple weeks ago, but not as good as this one should be, and I've got more coupons now.

Both natural and regular block cheese work! I am so loving this deal! I now have 15 blocks of cheese and will be getting at least 5 more. It freezes great and the kids will be thrilled we have so much cheese. I have been paying $1.06 for 5 blocks by rolling the cats. Even though I have no q's it still rocks!

Woo-hoo! Went to a different Kroger, where it worked like a charm.

The only thing was, this Kroger would not let me use a coupon on the 5th block of cheese which rang up "free". (The deal is, buy 4 they are 1.24, get the 5th one free, for 0.99/each.) So I had to pay 0.95 each transaction to get 5 packs of cheese and watch that beautiful $4 OYNO catalina roll out of my machine at the UScan.

Note, they roll with no problem. I incorporated some other purchases in each transaction and paid for those with the $4 from the one previous, and it just kept going until I ran out of coupons.

Thanks I was going to ask if the onyo rolled so I guess it does...and yes I tried the 5 coupon thing too and he gave me one back and said I could only use 4 since the 5th was free...which was still okay with me...and to my surprise he handed me a $4 onyo..

So I think I'm going back tomorrow and do it two more times but I only have one coupon which I think is still okay..

4 cheese at 1.24 = 4.96
5th one free

use $4 onyo and pay .96 and get back another $4 onyo

So I guess this means I'm getting 5 packs of cheese for .96

I was just excited to see the 2% natural on sale for $1.24, I had 3 bags since I had 3 coupons, but the nicest cashier ever told me about the $4 catalina if I bought 2 more bags so I did and got the cat. no prob. Glad to know they roll with no prob.
