I agree, deep down I was hoping for an off week as I leave Monday for a week long business trip. I would have hated to miss a bunch of great deals!

The free redbox thing isn't much of a temptation for me because there are codes for free rentals floating around all over the place. If any of you planned to do the fruit snacks deal just for the rental, you might want to visit:

I had to go today just to get lunch meat and while I was there, I thought of something that might be somewhat of a deal.

I bought 2 of the fresh express salads (BOGO) and then a Sargento Salad Finisher. I had a coupon for buy 2 fresh express salads, get a free salad finisher. So I got 2 bags of salad and a salad finisher for $2.69. Not too bad for me when the salad finisher itself was $3.79.

The "Buy 10, Get 5 Free" is a good deal on powerade. It comes to $.60 each. I haven't seen coupons for free powerade, like they had last summer, and this is one of the better prices I've seen anywhere - CVS, Wags, Rainbow...

Only thing that catches my eye is the powerade as well. I have some expired .75/2 coupons to sweeten the deal. Not sure though if I will go though since that is the only think I would be getting. Hmm.

I do need some sargento salad finishers for the rebate too.

If you are in need of chicken I thought this was a pretty good deal.

The Gold N Plump skinless, boneless chicken breasts are buy one get one free or 2/$6.29. There are $.75 off 1 q's on the Gold N Plump website so I got 2 packages of chicken breasts for $4.79.

You may want to call your store and ask if they carry the Starbucks ice cream. The 2 stores that I went to today do not carry it (Plymouth - Vicksburg, and Minnetonka - 7 & 101). The guy working in the freezer section said the smaller stores do not carry all products mentioned in the ads.

I had 2 of the Hormel $1/1 q's left so I figured out the seasoned pork loins. I don't have my ad in front of me but I think it came out to about $2.40/lb if you use 2 of those q's. Not sure if the loins are by weight or per item.

Also, I was hoping to find another print or expired q for the rubbermaid salad saver thingies. I still need the large one and its 40% off... IF they have the larger one. I'm thinking Shorewood Cub didn't last time I was there.

Probably not worth the trip for me as that's 50 minutes away.

Check your CUB, I found mail-in rebate form for $10 for purchase of any salty snacks, ice, charcoal, propane, condiments, dips, buns, meat snacks, deli sandwiches, bottled water or pizza (this will go nicely w/ the Tombstone pizza one). Purchase price of items must exceed $10.00, offer exp 7/31/09.

Anyone know if the cheese still on sale this week for $1.77? I got the cat for them when I bought the regular one too.

Also, the BOGO free (no coupon needed) say the shirmp, are they both count toward my order or just one pack? Want to figure out how to use my $10/$100. Also, if anyone has this coupon and won't be using it, I would really like to have them. LMK
