I emailed corporate a week ago. I'm thinking of giving them a call. I really would prefer something in writing though

If you call corporate have them contact that store specifically and have them educate the store manager. If you e-mail them then print out their response and go in armed with it! Good luck!

I won too!!!!! I called the 1800 rite-aid number today and finally got customer service who told me that I could not use a bogo coupon on a bogo sale. I told him I read where the policy had changed. The guy in customer service said he was in PA, and that he would definitely have corporate contact me, but thought it was no. In about an hour, The district mgr. called me and told me that he talked to the store mgr. who would honor the bogo coupon on the bogo sale that ended 7/4 (store mgr. had told me I would have to wait until monday depending on what her district mgr. said). The store manager called and told me that she would indeed honor the bogo deal with the coupons and appreciated me waiting. It does pay to call and to be patient!!!! Thanks afc!!

I just sent an email to corporate about their BOGO policy with BOGO sale. I need to take the email into the store to show them.

i just got home from RA and i too won the coupon battle .
( they were out of colgate so i got a raincheck for it.)

i was buying 2- edge shave gel $1 ea. had 2-75 cents off coupons and i had 4 of the sure for men deodorant it was on sale b1g1(3.29) and i had 4 coupons for 1.25 off and the cashier said i could only use 2 coupons and pointed at the sign that says only $5 in ip coupons. i said yes you can these are out of the sunday paper not from the internet. i told her i could use a coupon for each thing of deodorant and she said and raised her voice at me "i'm not giving you 2.50 off 3.29 you can't use a coupon on the free deodorant." so i asked for a manager and she said there isn't one working today. WTF no manager or anyone in charge at a corporate store on a Wednesday. i said lets call corporate then and she got the other clerk and after he told her to stop talking so he could figuire out what was going on and i explained to him he said i could use all my coupons that i was still paying some and not getting it for free. then he proceded to go off about the stayfree b1g1 sale and the coupons and how people were coming in the store and getting like 20 of them for free and ripping off the store!!! like they aren't getting the money from the manufacture for it . then the lady started with how people are coming in with the 5 off 25 coupon then giving all their other coupons and owing next to nothing and how that is wrong and not allowed.

there was a try me free sticker on them and i will be getting back more that i paid them !( can only do it on one though) but its still more than i paid.

This is a similar problem I had last night at my regular store! They made me feel very uncomfortable, looking at each of my q's BEFORE even ringing up my items! These clerks act like we are taking money out of their pocket! Why, oh why can't these stores be consistent in training their employees when it comes to the coupon policy?!?

i read your post last night i agree they really do need to train these people better at dealing with the public! the 2nd cashier in my post (a man in his early 20's) is the one who took my coupons on the b1g1 sale and he told me then some of the older ladies wouldn't have done it but that he didn't care it wasn't his money!! then today he says we are trying to steal. blah blah blah!they so act like we are taking money from them when instead of us paying for something the manufacture pays them its not like their not getting anything for it. guess i will stick more to walgreens and cvs and only do riteaid if i have to!(except there's a new RA on the other side of town i am going to try tomorrow and see if they are any nicer!)

I had a problem until recently when I talked to the Vice President and he said you have my # so call me if you ever have a problem in the store and I will fix it personally for you and if you ever want to buy a large order of a sale item let me know and we will order it out of our warehouse and have it sent to the store nearest to you.
