I got this tip from SD and did it this morning. Buy 3/$9 and get $3 RR deal can be a money maker as follows (because it rings up @ $3.49, $3.49 & $2.02 instead of $3 each);

Reach ultra clean SINGLE toothbrush: $3.49
Reach ultra clean SINGLE toothbrush: $3.49
Reach ADVANCED DOUBLE pack toothbrushes: $2.02

Subtotal: $9

Coupons to use
BOGO Reach single toothbrush (4/26 RP): -$3.49
$2 Listerine/Reach IP from coupons.com: -$2
$2 Listerine/Reach IP from coupons.com: -$2

Total: $1.51, get back $3RR -> $1.49MM

You can substitute the last double pack toothbrushes for Listerine 500ml or floss that's part of the 3/$9 deal and it will all be the same MM as long as it rings up $2.02 for the last item.

On a sidenote, I JUST noticed that the $2 IP is a 992 also (after seeing in small print how many products it was good on) and yet the RR is still printing for them even when the Q is used. If anyone was following the Dry Idea thread, it was guessed that it was bc the Dry Idea IP is a 992 and that's why people weren't getting a RR when they used it, but it seems like this coupon blows that theory out of the water... hmmm.

The 992 coupon by itself does NOT prevent the RR from printing. It usually becomes a problem when the 992 coupon and the RR has the SAME VALUE. It's because the register cannot tell the difference whether you used an RR or 992 coupon in the transaction, so it assumes you used a RR and does not print one.

Dry idea has $2RR and IP is also for $2 -> no RR will print if you use the 992 IP
Reach has $3RR and IP is for $2 -> WILL print RR since the value of 992 IP is different
(however, if you use $3/3 Reach q from 4/26 RP, or any other 992 q w/ $3 face value and you will NOT get the RR). Hope that helps!

How are you allowed to use two of the $2 coupons? For some reason I'm thinking that the BOGO would "attach" itself to two items since you must buy one to get another. Then technically you could only use one $2. Maybe I'm wrong...

BOGO q at Walgreens always attach to one item (the free one). So the register can take the $2 q on the first one that you are buying.

In the past, I had no problem using 2 coupons together - one being BOGO and the other $$ off. Just like everying else, I guess it could be YMMV per cashier but it *should* work.

Walgreens does not allow "stacking" When purchasing two of the same items with a buy one get one free coupon NO additional manufacturers coupon can be used in combination on the purchase.

Sorry, I didn't know the deal was not allowed. I'll mark the deal dead.

FYI-I was told that I can use BOGO and $$/1 together. They said it's not stacking as long as the second coupon is off one (it's not allowed if the second coupon is $$/2).

Anyway, sorry for the people who got excited for the deal!

i bought 3 double packs, used one b1g1f c/o and two $2 c/o but got grief from the cashier who acted like the c/o come out of her paycheck..oh well, ill keep trying!

Using a b1g1 coupon and a coupon on the first product can be done at wags but it is a YMMV so please dont expect it but i can do it at 9 out of 10 of my wags. I have asked the cashiers, i have asked the managers AND i have asked customer service. It is up to the District manager and the store manager if they will or will not accept it.

Same with a b1g1 sale and 2 coupons- its a ymmv some stores do and some stores dont.

Why would the store not take $2.02 for the free coupon . I had a b1g1 free coupon and that is what they did . They took off the smallest amount for the free coupon.Not a moneymaker if the store does this. Any thought about this?

Most of the stores out there will take 2 q's on bogo items. If not, have a chit-chat with the manager in private or the district manager if need be. The mfr is the one that provided the cpn (be it IP or print ad). The store is setting the price on the items they sell. The store is getting the cost of the coupon back from the mfr, no matter what they sell the item for! It's no loss for them to take 2 q's. It IS a loss to them if they don't sell 2 items and lose your business because they don't understand the life of a coupon!!!!!!!! HTH

I think you need to make sure that the last item they ring up is something other than the single toothbrush. Then they can't use that one as the free item.

The BOGO q is good on the SINGLE toothbrush - which rings up at $3.49 and the last item for $2.02 is a double pack so the BOGO should deduct $3.49. If you want to avoid the argument, you can get Listerine or Floss for the last item and they will have to give you $3.49 for the BOGO value Just make sure the single toothbrushes ring up as first & second items. Hope that helps!
