Can you use manu and store coupons on the same item. I was at homeland today at 122nd and rockwell and tried using store coupon on tampax and $1 manu coupon and was told that I could not, they even asked the manager. Maybe it is just the person at the register.

Good ?...I tried to stack a store coupon with a Mfr coupon about a month ago on Marlboro ciggs. The girl at CS let me do it. Then a few days later I went in and the person working at the time would not let me do it. So I made them get the mgr. who said YES, you can. A week later, a different mgr told me NO. So I really think it is up to who ever is on duty...LOL
I tried contacting corporate about it, but they will not ever contact me back. I have tried for 2 years to email them...no luck so far. So this may be a YMMV situation.

Speaking of coupons....has anyone noticed more and more of the coupons coming out say "Do not double" on them? Ex. The Wholly Guacamole coupon from this week's paper says dnd but last time it didn't say that on there. I think I am getting cheaper as the days go by because I was going to add that to my list since it would only be .25, but now I am rethinking because it won't double. I'm bad, I know. =)

depends on the checker, they do not always read the coupons, go to a young boy and you may have better luck...but it is always ymmv

I have been wondering this for a long time? Why do Manu care if their coupon is doubled? What harm comes to them? The store is taking the hit on it.

That is exactly what I do, how funny!! I actually case out the checkers... I will go to the one who looks the least interested. My husband thinks I am nutty. it seems to be successful though.

After you go to the same store enough, you will learn who to go to and who uses a magnifying glass over them and finds the DND words on them. I love the ones that just glance at the date and scan, glance at the date and scan, glance and scan. Okay, you get the drift......

Unfortunately the "good" ones are not always working, when I was in earlier today (I actually went to three) my q's were looked at very closely, and I did not have any that were not good with what I bought. Also I find that the fewer items you get the more they look at the q's, or that is my experience anyway. Sunday I was at the one on 122nd and rockwell and it was a young boy that checked me out and he was like you must be a professional shopper, blah blah blah.
