| stayfree deal for gc - question
Ok, I am new to the rite aid store. can you do the stayfree alone? ex. buy 14 stayfree at 3.99 -7 cpns for bogo stayfree and still get the gc? I am a little lost on making the other transactions for scr?

Yes I believe you can, but it just depends on your store. Some stores do not allow a BOGO sale to be combined with a q, so it's a YMMV. Plus you'll also be responsible for the tax. HTH.

| NO this purchase will not get you a GC. You need to buy $50.00 of J&J in order to get the GC ... and this is only $27.93. You should buy 12 more (26 in total), which will get you over $50. (Remember, only the one that you paid for using a coupon will count towards the $50 total)

so I would have to get 14+12 stayfree pks. - the sales ad front bogo and print off the $5/25 order= 26 x 3.99= 103.75- 50%(for bogo)=51.87- $5/$25= 46.87 is that right? I think I would have to find another way to break this down some if that is right.

| Some stores will, some won't. The registers are programmed to accept it ... but some cashiers won't let it happen. If yours won't, then in my opinion this isn't a great deal.

I did the stayfree deal this morning on 4 packs but they only had enough for two coupons. The cashier went to give me one coupon back and said I would not be paying for any of them so she could not take two. I told her to cancel the transacation as I would use the Q's at CVS. She then called the manager and asked him and he said;"I don't see why not". I'm hoping other RiteAid stores (in Pittsburgh) take them without a fuss.

I just used two more BOGO manufacturer coupons in another store but they didn't like to do it. The cashier kept saying 'you are already getting one free' but then the manager came over and entered the q's. I went to the two in Oakland (Pittsburgh) 15213

I went yesterday to do the BOGO stayfree deal and they wouldnt take my Q's After the lady ask people working their she said that I could pay 1.99 for 2 that would be half off the 3.99 I would not get them for free but I had candy bar Qs BOGO and they took them with no problem she took off .85 so I paid three cents for 2 candy bars I asked why she just said thats the new policy and I couldnt get them for free so I would have to pay for the stay free and get the candy free Who knows anymore about their policies I think who ever works that shift makes up there own as they go

I have a question.. I saw someone trading the BOGO stayfree that excludes "jumbo" packs.. what are considered jumbo packs and does everyone's coupons say this? I don't have them with me.

I had a bunch of the $2/2 coupons that expire 6/30 with me just in case the cashier gave me a hard time about the BOGO coupons. Out of five stores, only one told me I couldn't use the BOGO coupon with the sale. Even with the $2/2, it's still a MM.

| $2/2 coupon can only be used at my RA if you take 4 packs to the cashier to get the $2/2 b/c they are BOG1 so they will not take it for just 2 packs and they will not let you use the BOGOF coupon unless they are not BOGOF.It sure is a bummer when they give you their attitudes.

Has anyone tried getting two free using the BOGO sale and the BOGO coupon. I heard that some stores that don't honor the BOGO with a BOBO free sale will give you two items for free with their sale and the manufacturer coupon. Also, has anyone seen the BOGO policy in writing.

Hi, I stopped by after work and bought: 2-16 count $3.99x2=$7.98 2-18 count $3.99x2=$7.98 1 can spray starch=$2.29 My total before the BOGO coupons were deducted was $11. After the coupons were deducted, I paid $3.11. So basically I paid for the spray starch (which I needed) and tax on the 4 packages. This is my first time shopping at RA. I have couponed in the past, but not with all the information I have since learned from AFC. I only started with a couple BOGO coupons to see if I would have any trouble. The cashier was very friendly, and she didn't bat an eyelash when she entered the amount for the coupons. I will probably stop by after work again tomorrow and use my other 2 BOGOs. |

Hello everyone, great day. I went to two RA an ended up with 24 stayfree and 1 J&J body wash. All stayfree were free and will qualify for the giftcard. used 12 BOGO At both stores the cashiers said you can't use these b/c that would make them all free. Both times the manager standing right there said yes she can, put them through as 3.99 they will be free. no tax.... SO i was so happy that I gave the young cashiers at both stores a couple of packs to take home. They were so surprised and happy... One said "for real" so I said yes they are free and we all have to use them, right? Have a great night. and I left smiling all the way. Also picked up a raincheck for a friend they said she will have 30 days to use it Thanks for the great tips everyone. |
