Got my Rainbow ad for next week. The deal that really jumps out at me is $1.49 12 packs of Coca Cola products when you buy 5 plus additional $25.00 purchase. I have some $1/12 pack coupons from Coke Rewards. Maybe I can double these and get overage!

This may be a dumb question, but does the additional $25 purchase include the soda? If so, does it include the regular price (I believe it's $3.99)? If so, you're almost up to the $25 right there? Is it too good to be true? Thanks!

It includes the pop. I did this last week with the Pepsi, got 5 12 pks pepsi and 5 items to double coupons. Super easy requiring no math in the store.

I think this is YMMV. I know at the Penn Rainbow in Richfield they had about 1000 signs up all over the pop aisle stating that you had to buy $25.00 BEFORE the soda for the Pepsi deal last week.

There is also $1 off poptart coupons. I figure this deal is you use 5 $1 off coupons doubled they are free and if you have any other coupons then you could make money on the deal. I also think with just these 8 items you will be over your $25 for doubles.

Well, I just went through my stockpile yesterday and I have about 58 boxes of cereal. I absolutely MUST NOT get more cereal. And Pop Tarts? I am pretty overloaded on those. Maybe I can get some Keeblers crackers or cookies to go along with the deal. I need to find some coupons for those. Because with this deal and a gallon of milk and some bananas - I will be at $25 to do the Coke deal.

Does anyone know if the $10 off will count against the $25 total? In my opinion, it shouldn't but you never know. I will pick a cashier I know is friendly I guess!

This is really a super deal on pop! If I use 4 $1/2 coupons on the Kellogg/Keebler deal to double - if I print ONE Coke coupon - I can double it and get 5 12 packs for $5.45. That is probably one of the best deals on Coke I've gotten in a long time.

I will have to think on a few more scenarios for this. My dh recently decided he like Cherry Coke Zero (what I drink now) - even though we have about 15 12 packs of 7-up (what he USED to drink). AARRGGHHHHH! So now I need to stock up more on the Cherry Coke Zero. At least this way if he decides he doesn't like it - I know that I will drink it!

8 cereals $20 - $13 coupons ($8 $1 coupons w/ 5 of them doubled) - $10 = NEGATIVE $3! Now it all depends on how much your cereal is to get up to $25. So you would have to have $3 of something to cover the overage.

I had a guy in front of me do the pop deal last week and he didn't have $25 before they all went to the sale price.

I also heard from another person, that they went through the Uscan and the moment that she scanned the 5th pop, her price dropped to the sale price.
