Mtalk...YES! Though you may always have a cranky cashier...so look for a young happy person. I know the cashiers that will give me trouble and I know the ones that I just love!

Though they may question why you got a $5 gift card and only paid $2.

1. so does the $25 amount always refer to shelf price for the items and not the subtotal?

2. do they not want you to know that?

3. how many boxes are you all getting?

I've gotten 24 so far. I have tons more coupons, I'm just not sure where I'll put all the boxes of cereal!!

I have never seen a cereal deal where I am being paid to take it!

ok this deal was hard to stop but did three deals tonight i paid 1.34 for one tran and 2.94 for the first as i was not sure how it all go and third was higher as i got a little greedy it was 8.30 but i have a total of
8 12pk cokes
2 6 bottle cokes
16 boxes of crackers and cookies
6 cereals
2 pop tarts
2 loaf bread
2 eggo wafflers
2 gal milk
2 strewberries
cucubmer
canolope
lg jar apple sause
so all that for 12 and change but saved $125.00 so can not bet that
i could of done a lot better as i did not need the extra pop but found 2 coke and toaster coupons but as this was my third tran not the best deal .
but it was fun .

I realized for the Kelloggs they were ringing up $2.50 each not like most of Rainbows sale it rings up reg price then deducts the amount so it counts the reg price these are only counting the $2.50 each that's why mine didn't double I needed $5 more not $3.99.

I had so much fun today thanks to all your advice and links to coupons. I did 8 deals today and on the very last transaction I had some trouble. The young cashier said I didn't have the $25.00 total for the pop deal. (I had enough before my coupons and before the $10.00 Kellogg in store offer came off.) I told her I had done this multiple times today and she should just try it. She wasn't budging, so I told her she could take it out of my cart. If looks could kill I would have been dead. It's a good thing this was my last transaction and I already had more then enough pop.

Same thing happened to me today. I needed $5 more after the 8 Kellogg items.

I went to 2 different stores today and at the second one they had bright colored signs all over the place stating that you had to buy 5 pops and have an additional purchase of $25. Funny the first store did not have that!

Yep...I had the same problem with mine. It made no sense at all. I added in a gift card to the deal. I am wondering if they are catching on. Even the sale tags were just the sale tags...no price before at all.

On the back of two of my Special K boxes I got yesterday, there are 3-$2 coupons if you buy both a Spec K cereal AND a special K granola bar. Those are in the deal, too, right? So I think I'm going back today! Then the doubles don't matter for the $2 coupons.

There's a tearpad near the crackers for $1 off Town House crackers. So I think I can do the deal twice - 3 Special K cereal, 3 spec K gran bars, and 2 town house crack. and pay $2. Even without doubles! Woohoo!

Yea I noticed that on the shelf signs were only the sale because I wanted to see what the reg price was. I think it was just the way they entered it becaues I bought other sale items and the rang up the same was as before reg price then - sale amount so they would have counted as reg price. We'll have to see how the price things from not on.

My first transaction was 8 boxes of cereal and 3 boxes of Eggo waffles. I had a $1 coupon for everything, so my OOP was $0.00!

I did that twice and then my third transaction was 8 boxes of poptarts, 5 12 packs of Coke and a gallon of milk. I had $1 coupons for the poptarts and a coupon for a free gallon of milk, so I paid $4.45 ($4.98 with tax) for all of it.

I am having issues with double coupon day, and really need to revisit my strategy. I almost always spend more than I think I am going to, and get flustered if things go wrong. I did 4 transactions yesterday, and am OOP $50.00 which is great compared to what I used to spend, but I see people who are doing similar deals and are OOP less than half what I am! At any rate, yesterday I got:
