People have been talking about this new deal:

If you buy 2 Almay products, you will get a $5 Target gift card at check out. This will automatically come up after your 2 Almay products are scanned. Cashier will be advised to scan and give you a $5 Target GC.

There are $1/1 peelies on some of the Almay products. Also $1/1 tearpad coupons. I haven't checked if there are any Almay insert coupons.

I just left Target and bought 2 Almay products-both eye makeup remover and no gift card! I am disappointed. I wonder if it is only in some stores or certain products. I also did not see any tear sheets or $1 off.

I just called and Target says there are no Almay gift cards with purchase. Could it be only at certain stores or with certain products? I am still new to the Target deals!

well, if anybody is interested in buying ALMAY stuff anyway, I just signed up on their website and was able to print two coupons. $1/1 almay eye or lip product && $2/1 face makeup or skincare. The ones I printed expire on 12/19.. so there is time to print them and keep them incase a working deal comes out. Definately interested in knowing if this deal worked for anybody.

It worked for me today in Oregon. I bought 6 bars of soap, had coupons for all of them. Lots of $1.00 off peelies on the Almay stuff. Ended up with 3 gift cards. There was a little sign up near the Almay display telling about the gift card deal. Hope it works for you too!

The only Almay I saw was in the cosmetics section. Is it somewhere else in the store also?

I think at Target the soaps are with all the face care stuff..cleaning/moisturizing, etc.

These run $3.59 at CVS I believe. I would think you could use a $2 face care printable and a $1 insert/peelie/tearpad for a cost of $4.18 for 2 soaps and a $5 GC.

But, my coupons beeped last time (VR deal) because the computer deducted $2.50 per item off the cost. So it rang $3.19 but the screen said $.69 for each item then had the GC in the same box.

So, my theory is that this time it will say $1.09 per soap and a $2 coupon would beep. We all know beeping is not good! Since it is a printable that will only add to the confusion!

Time for some trial and error sessions! And off to recycling to see if I can get some $2 insert coupons!
