Saw this deal posted at Meijer today and took advantage of it!!

Buy any 2 Dole bagged salads including Dole slaw mix! and one Naturewell beef product, get $3 OYNO through 7/11

I used the 2 bags of Dole iceberg salad that were $.75 (ETA: The salads are NOT on sale for us this week--the $.75 price ended on Sat. in Ohio.) and got the Naturewell (Meijer brand natural beef products) ground beef from the meat counter. I got a pound @ $2.19, but you could get $1.50 worth if you prefer. They also have higher priced steaks, roasts, etc. I found the ground beef to be the cheapest option. The lady at the meat counter said it was comparable to ground round (85/15). Got to the checkout and got my $3 OYNO cat!!! SWEET!!!!!

The deal was even sweeter for me, b/c I had some of the $1.50/2 Dole salad blends Q from a Meijer Healthy Living Naturally (May/June issue) booklet, found in our store near the seafood/meat dept. Some stores have these by the front rack where the ads are kept. That means my salad was free and I paid $2.xx for the beef (a MM of about $1 w/the OYNO $3 cat!).

Please remember to say if this deal helped you get some cheap groceries!

Don't forget you could combine the "Get $2 off produce instantly wyb 3 A1 sauce, marinades or Kraft BBQ sauce" with this deal. Use the $2 in free produce toward your Dole salad, since it's not on sale this week. The BBQ sauce is $1.29 at our store, so with the $.50 Qs it's not a bad deal.

The coupon is good, but it's still FREE without it!! Buy 2 of the $.75 salads, and $1.50 worth of the Naturewell ground beef. Pay $3, get $3 OYNO. Not a money maker, but still FREE!

Just did this deal- worked great! Didn't have coupons but needed the salad and ground beef anyways. FYI, deal does not stack so do in separate transactions for more cats.

This is my first post and I had to thank you! I love getting free items and ground beef is even better!! I just got 2, 1/2 pound packages and they paid me to buy them!!

I did this awesome deal last night. I didn't have Qs but was still very happy with what I got. I'm going back for more after work tonight.

I also wanted to let every know that I asked the butcher and he said the beef is 85/15 lean.

I'm normally 96/4 lean purchaser, but just could not pass on this deal. A little extra fast doesn't hurt every once in awhile. Yep....I'll keep telling myself that.

Here's to free taco salad. I'll use my free taco seasoning from Meijer last week, my free salsa from Target, and this week's almost free salad and ground beef.

I know what you mean about the fat, I try to stick to 96% lean, too. I always brown the meat, drain, and then rinse it in warm water. I figure that's got to help bring it close to the 96% AND it's FREE!!!

I was at a different Meijer store today and found out that the meat is 85/15, like PP said. When I went to our Meijer yesterday, the lady was filling in for someone's break and didn't know. That is higher than the normal 96/4 that I usually get. However, we made these into burgers on the grill last night and they were SOOOOOO good!!! I usually cook, drain and rinse my ground beef, too. I figured since they were grilled, it dripped off!

And, NO, the $1.50/2 Dole Q from the booklet scanned great and went through perfectly--even at the U-scan!!! I found a soup kitchen in town that can use all of my bags of iceberg salad. I can freeze the beef, but not the salad! KWIM??

Naturewell does have other beef products, like roasts and steaks. They were just way more expensive than the ground beef (and prepackaged, so you couldn't get a smaller amt.). The prepackaged stuff ranged from $7-$14 or so at my store.

Great idea on the taco salad, hammiehaack!

Have you tried this Beef?
I do not care for it.......it has a different taste to me.
Try it before you load up if you never have had it. YMMV.

I grilled these burgers for the fam last night. We all thought they were delicious.

We ate these with the accompanying free dole salad bag and some perogies (paid 33 cents a few weeks ago) and had a feast on the cheap.

Yep! I think I've "rolled" that $3 cat about 5 or 6 times so far (and plan to continue doing it until Sat!).

And, yes, I have tried this beef! While each person's preferences obviously vary, my DH and I both thought they were some of the best burgers we've ever had!
