I am just wondering if Catalina Coupons will double... thought maybe the cashiers would KNOW that those say DND. But, they do start with a 5!

Lately mine haven't. But I have received a couple Juicy Juice ones that haven't said DND and have doubled. That was about 3 months ago.

Oh... BUMMER!! WAAHH!! I wanted the one I got today to double! It was $.75/2 Hot Pockets..

I wonder why they wont double since it starts with a 5. Do the cashiers push a button or does the computer automatically know?

I don't know. Just try it, if it doesn't double, tell them to take the hot pockets off. Did you not get the .50/1 coupon in one of the newspapers? I used 2 of them today, so 1.00 for hot pockets!

Ummm....I got a $.50/1 coupon... that I used today and I'm assuming thats what got me this catalina coupon! I also have a hot pockets Piani (sp?) coupon, but couldn't find that at the dell City Store.

Yes, I could tell them to take it off, but I always make a fiasco at the check out so I try to make thing as easy as possible, but I guess its worth a try!! I don't think I've ever gone to the same cashier twice! LOL

HAHAHA! I know how that goes!! I do that ALL the time! At other stores, I always automatically double my coupons in my head, and then remember that it only works at Homeland! LOL

Oh! And I was so excited! I got a catalina for FREE any Poise product up to $4!! I did't know they gave out FREES at Catalinas! Thats awesome!

Also, finally got a $.10 off per gallon gas...never have a bill that high. But I was surprised I got it because it was only over $30 before coupons.. afterwards it was $14 something!! NICE!

Did you purchase Poise today? was wanting to know if that is what triggered the catalina for the Free Poise?

The Gas Catalina's are just a Bonus for me.
I save all my Freebie Q's to use in one order + other stuff to get a higher gas Catalina( at least once a month) the highest one I have gotten so far was a 50c and combined it with (2) 30c catalinas......since you can combine 3 gas catalinas, I saved a $1.10 a gallon ....and when I filled up my truck( waited till it was almost empty), I got over $20 back in cash!
It takes a lil practice to get your orders larger( so you can get a bigger gas catalina)

I had a Catalina recently and it was scanned by a cashier in training. The Catalina said DND. The computer automatically didn't double it. The cashier didn't hit the DND sign. I can't remember if it started with a 5. It was for 75cents off Dole fruit cups.

kwoodruff- I think it would've cut the catalina coupons off the strip if it was for the person in front of me, wouldn't it? These were all on one long strip...Also, the person in front of me just bought Asparagus, Peaches and lettuce.. LOL... I was standing in line a LONG time, the lady in front of her was having problems with something...

Yes they will double.. my mother used 2 catalinas the other day .. and she told me that they doubled automatically.. I argued with her naturally.. and sure enough on the reciept they doubled without a problem and yes they did start with a "5"

I always ask for the extra Catalina's that people leave behind at the register. Sunday I got a whole bunch and asked the cashier if they double and she told me know. She is the nice cashier that I always try to get in her line. I haven't noticed if they double automatically when I use them. Maybe it depends?
