| Lost my binder after bad coupon experience ... Read! **UPDATE**
COUPONERS ... If any cashier at KROGER tells you they don't take IP Q's over $1.00 ask for a manager! Or call the 1-800 # ... this is not true! Now, if the coupon is giving it to you FREE it is up to the store manger. But today I was shopping and I had already had a crappy experience at Wal-mart so this just really made my day (NOT). I tried to use two $2.00 coupons of off HUGGIES. This for sure did not make the diapers free (don't we all wish). The cashier refused to take them off (they did scan). I asked for a manager and she told me she was a co-manager (found out she was not). So, I had them take the diapers off. I had a couple of other things over $1.00 too and I had them take them off (none would have been FREE). GRRR .. .so not happy! My little one is sick and I was so frusterated I left the store to fast and I guess I left my binder on the check-out. I came back three minutes later and it was gone! The cashier said she had not seen it. YEAH RIGHT you just checked me out. I think the cashier had it under her counter because there was no one behind me in line (everyone left when they say the problems I was having). Now, I not only don't have my diapers, but I lost all my Q's and my new binder that took forever to organize! I'm so upset!I did come right home and call corporate. While they can't do anything about my binder they did assure me this was NOT their policy!!!! STAND UP FOR YOURSELVES LADIES!!!! **Well, I went in and my binder is not there! But, a fellow cashier did say the say my cashier take a "book" to her locker. The manager would not elaberate a lot on the subject or what was going on, but she did apologize and assure me "the situation is being handled". Not sure what this means. At least I still have some Q's for my TRAINS I'm in!!! Hopefully, there will be some good Q's in the coming weeks newspaper!!! THANKS TO ALL OF THOSE WHO ARE SENDING ME SOME Q'S!!!! I would definitely go back and demand to speak to a real manager, and tell him/her about the poor customer service you received.

| I'm so sorry this happened to you. I would call the manager as well as the district manager (or even write them a letter) and explain what happened and that you feel the cashier took your binder. I seriously doubt it vanished in 3 minutes or that someone other than her took it. After all, when they find something they are required to take it to the customer service desk. Believe me seeing how most people don't use coupons (I shutter at the thought of their stupidity) if someone picked it up right after you, I'm certain they would have brought it to customer service. I'm thinking the cashier probably saw the great deals you were getting and thought to herself, gee, she left her binder here, I'm just going to keep it. Sorry, I'm not a real trusting person. I do feel for you. I lost all of my coupons, but thats because a cat peed on it. Different scenerios, but same ending. Just think, how much better this next binder will be. Keep your chin up!

I'm so sorry. Hopefully the binder will be returned. Good for you calling corporate!! I don't blame you and would've done the same thing.

sorry to hear 'bout your loss... i don't understand why some crappy cashiers take it personal if they see you saving money... like its coming out of their purse. Not our fault if they are to lazy to get a few coupons together. I hate trying to get comps at walmart for that reason... they have some of the worst customer service at the register.

Oh no, I'm sorry you had such a bad experience. I hope the binder "shows up". Most people don't carry a huge book full of coupons around. So if a customer found it, they would surely at least take a few minutes to look at to figure out what it is before they decide to take it. You'd think the cashier and whomever else was around the registers would notice somebody standing there looking at a coupon binder. I'd call the manager and ask them to see if she walks out with it when she leaves for the day.

Ok ... I called the store ... she is NOT a manager (big suprise there). I'm going to go in tomorrow and see if the video feed was on. She has already left for the day so they can't search her area her. DARN!

I would have told them to roll the security cameras. I would simply say it had personal info in it such as a social security card, or military id. And when i came back and my binder was gone, best believe i would have dove head first behind her register and look for it myself. then when i found it, woulda called corporate in front of her. i bet the REAL manager would've came out then. Co- manager, what is a co-manager. you are or you arent a manager.

I was shopping at the local Giant Eagle and lost my Pantene coupon $1.00/2 products- I really needed shampoo and hairspray- anyway I dropped my coupon binder and 100s of coupons slid all over the pet isle!! WHAT A MESS!! Needless to say I did not find my Pantene coupon and I went to check out. Not a good coupon day. BUT- I did get 3.00 off my next shopping order with my Purina One dog food!!! Good luck finding your binder- It doesn't take long to stock up!! I just started saving coupons and have a bunch. LOVE THIS SITE!!
