Keep your Head up and go back every day and ONLY Talk with the Manager & Make sure you tell them that that one person told you that they were a Co-Manager. That is just WRONG that they would Lie to you like that.
I used to love Kroger & In a way I am glad I don't have any here in Mooresville, NC.

I am so sorry. I am only beginning to coupon myself, and do not have very many. I cannot imagine someone stealing all of your hard work. I hope you are able to view the tapes and see exactly what happened.

I'm sorry you had such a bad day! But, if the cashier and her co-conspirator were so anti-coupons, I doubt they stole it, they probably threw it away! I would check the trash! If they have such a low opinion of coupons they might think they're doing the world a favor by throwing the coupons away, especially if they're thinking the coupons are fake. Just a thought...

oh, I am so sorry! I just started out, so I dont have a binder, but I have a school supply box, and remember when I left that behind! That totally sucks! I hate when I get cashiers that don't appreciate you saving money. It's not like you're taking money out of their paycheck if you save money! What's their problem?!?!? If you go into the store and tell them you are going to contact corporate, they might do a better investigation of what happened to your binder, but I'm sure that it's long gone and the cashier that wasn't taking the money off of your order is now doing her own.

OMGoodness! I wish I could say I don't believe someone would do that, but I totally DO believe it. I'm so sorry! I'd go insane. My binder is a part of me and I take it everywhere. I hope the security video reveals what happened to it.

Okay, I already posted that this situation stinks. But I think I need to make a comment here. Being a cashier stinks. I've been there. You get treated like dirt for minimum wage. I know, maybe she could have gotten a different job...but maybe she couldn't. No, it's not an excuse to be mean to a customer, it's not an excuse to be rude, etc. I do know for a fact that sometimes the things that cashiers do and say are because of what they have been trained to do and say. When I contacted Kroger corporate a while ago, they told me they did take IPs but that individual stores could limit the amount of the IP they accepted. For example, a store may limit to one like IP or they may limit the amount of the IPs they accept (i.e. not taking IPs over $1.00).

We all hope the cashiers don't read the fine print of "limit one per household", etc. but if they do or they are cautious about coupons it's because *they* will be held responsible for coupon abuse (which I'm sure is not from an AFCer!)

I've had cashiers refuse coupons before because a supervisor (someone who *should* know what they are doing) told them they could not accept the coupon. You have to keep in mind that if a cashier makes a certain number of mistakes within a certain period of time he/she may lose their job. Now, it's a rotten job usually, but they still need to pay the bills just like the rest of us....so, if they are told by a supervisor not to do something and they enforce it - well, yes, it makes you unhappy, but they are doing it to keep their jobs.

In a store I worked in we had to count change back which most customers did not want us to do, but if we were caught not doing it we were fired. Also, we had to say "thank you for shopping at store xyz." I know, it's annoying to hear that as a customer, but if I didn't say it, then I was fired.

So, I'm just saying, let's all cut the cashiers some slack. Again, it's not an excuse to be rude, etc. but that doesn't mean that she stole the binder and trashed it or is using it. It could be that someone came along and picked it up by mistake. I'm still waiting to see if you were able to see the videos......

IT was not only rudness in your situation, I see it a lot more than that.
Where did your binder go? and if the cashier took it, what do you call that?

I personally like it when the cashier thanks me for shopping at their store, I have experienced cashiers who give me the evil look upon leaving or showing an unhappy face upon stepping into the store.
Again, I am not being harsh here, it is a job, a hard one may be, but these are the job responsibilities that the cashier agreed upon when taking it.

I'm so sorry that you lost your binder! Well, you didn't lose it, we all pretty much know what happened to it!
I recently had a bad experience w/a cashier at Kroger myself over coupons. I used 7, yes a mere 7 coupons and she was ticked off and she let me know it! I contacted corporate twice and still no response. I'm a long time shopper of that Kroger store, 20 years plus, I have only been back in once.

I know how you feel. I left my box of coupons in my OFFICE AT WORK one night and someone had the nerve to steal it. I was only gone 12 hours and only my immediate co-workers have access to that office. I was so unnerved. I lost my little mind for weeks. If you Message me and let me know what coupons you'd like most, I'll send some if I have them! I usually have baby coupons that I try to save for SOMEONE because we have no children and know no one with children. Good luck rebuilding, and I hope they find she stole it on the camera and fire her, even if you can't get it back!

I have never lot my coupons (thank the Father) because the cashiers in Kansas were the greatest people and kept them for me. I have extras and know that without the good stuff you need. Give me an address in my mail and I will send yoy a gift certific for coupon master and send you some of mine. Smile at time like this you find friend in the strangest places.
