I would call ahead and speak with a manager. Let them know they juuuust expired. A couple of managers at my Wags are pretty lenient when it comes to accepting recently expired RRs.

One cashier wouldnt take it 1 day expired. I went back 2 weeks later, still had it and asked the cashier who was checking me out and he said that was fine. They still scan and dont beep. So he took it!

I think it's a YMMV thing, but a cashier at my store told me the other day, "You didn't hear this from me, but we will always take them since they will still scan (i.e. they never expire)." HTH!

Last week I had used an expired RR which was taken. I just had it in with my other coupons and he just scanned it without looking at it--and it went through no problem.

It's really up to the cashier or the manager. They scan with no beeps as long as there are no other issues with the transaction. So if the cashier isn't paying attention to the exp date it will just go through. If they are, they can decline it. In that case and really before you get in that situation, you can discuss it with a reasonable manager. They will normally accept them as long as it is within a couple of days. Don't wait any longer though.

I went and used my last week on the day they expired and when I handed them to the cashier the first thing she said was "I can't take these they have expired" I said that don't expire until today...

Are they trained to look at the dates on those things first maybe since they don't beep...
