Cool-Whip?
Hi!
Can cool-whip be frozen? The expiration dates says when frozen-use by 16 Oct. 2010,but when it unthaws will it be o.k. Has anybody ever froze any?

Yes we freeze it all the time. In my area it is in the freezer section all the time and we just put it in the fridge a day before we will need it.

Lots of times when you buy it is already frozen. I have always kept it in the freezer until I needed it otherwise it goes to waste so fast.

my husband has been freezing them for at least 10 years and we have never had any problems, he goes thru 10-20 a year

Yep we keep it froze until a day before we need it. Taste great!! Never a problem here

I agree, actually, it is quite good semi-frozen. Almost like a low-fat ice cream treat (I know, I know, I should really just eat ice cream but I am trying to loose weight!)

Just as long as it is the Cool Whip in the plastic bowl and isn't the Cool Whip in the pressurized can, the can I wouldn't recommend freezing.
