I went to the Kill Devil Hills/Nags Head Wags last night (Friday) You ladies cleaned the place out. I kind of expected that though. I just wanted to try it out and see what kind of savings I could come by. Apparently I don't have a nak for walgreens! Anyways, my real reason for this post is to let you ladies know that they discontinued the Easy saver booklets there. Also the lady with dark hair at the makeup counter is the one to go to if you need price checks or to do multiple transactions. Just make sure the (male) manager isn't around, because according to her he doesn't allow it. While I am here, do any of you OBX ladies know if Harris Teeter's accepts the Wag bucks?

Keep in mind that things are more expensive here, not just at wags. For example: the cutter bug repellent is $2 (at most wags) here on the Outer Banks it is $3. If you plan on Grocery shopping, which I am sure you will, Go to the Food Lion in Currituck. There prices are alot cheaper. Once you go across the Wright Memorial Bridge expect to over pay for everything!! I hope you enjoy your visit!!

how well i know we come nearly every year (didnt make it last yr) plus i use to live there when it was a ghost town in the winter and there was only 3 groc. stores from kitty hawk to manteo. we usually shop at FL in kill devil hills the one by the bowling alley but mostly getting everything b4 we go but we planned out our meals so were waiting to get our meat there. well b right at nags head pier im sure ill b the only 40 something there w/ a rat tail

I lived in KDH, in Colington for 11 years before moving to WI....I miss it so much. It's 46 degrees today and raining. And NOW they have Wags---I remember the day the Kamrt opened and it was the death of the old Rose's.

Hi all! I was wondering if we have any OBX'ers on here. I just got a deal on a house and will be going down mid-August. I couldn't remember what stores they have down there other than the Food Lion. I was hoping maybe I could get in on some good deals at stores we don't have around here. Keep your fingers crossed that it's a good week for deals!! And that we get the sneak peeks really early!


And, Mad, I'll be on the look out for you! Rat tail and all!

We have Food Lions, Harris Teeters, Walmart, Kmart, CVS, Walgreens and Rite Aid. It's too soon to tell what the deals are for August. Maybe Harry T's will be tripling that week!!! Good Luck.

Thanks! Yea, it's a bit early for August! I was thinking maybe 2-3 weeks out! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for some good Food Lion deals! It's a well known secret that I've got serious FL envy!
