I heard a rumor that A&P will be tripling. Anyone get the new ad yet? I don't get one in the mail anymore. I need triples!

I don't usually get it until tomorrow...but sometimes it comes today. I'll let you know if I get it...otherwise we'll have to wait to check online tomorrow. I'll keep my fingers crossed...it's been awhile!

It looks like it's the whole week- well, there week. Friday the 5th- Thursday the 11th.

This is what I've found so far:

Apple & Eve Cranberry Juice 2/$5. The 04/05/09 ss inserts may have either .50/1 or $1/2. If we have the 50 cent Q's they'd work out to be $1 each.

Old Orchard Healthy Balance is on sale for 2/$4. The 05/10/09 SS insert has .50/1 & $1/2 Q's. The May and June Red Book Mag's have .50/1Q's also. Best case scenario = 50 cents each.

Hot Shot Roach & Ant killer spray $1.50, supposed to be $1.50 off Q in this Sunday's paper? If so it's free.

Mento's Gum, buy on get one free. 05/03/09 SS has either .55/1 or $1/1 Q's = not sure of the regular price so I don't know how this would work out.

Smuckers strawberry Jam 2.50 each 2/$5 03/29 RP has .25/1 Q's so $1.25 each

Chips Ahoy cookies $1.74 to $2.09 5/17SS has .55/1 Q so .09 to .44 cents each

Nature Valley Granola Bars 2 for $5. use .75/2 q =$2.75 for 2
Getting 3 sets, net cost will be under 71 cents a box ($8.25 minus the $4 on next order/6)
The Proctor and Gamble offer, Spend 40 get $10 could be good pending what coupons are in the Sunday paper. Supposed to be a P&G insert.
Also saw peelies at Shoprite for Shout(2/4) and Greenworks(2/5). Not sure of the value on them, but have to go back to use my last Disney Egg coupon(will be .49 for a dozen eggs), will check the value of the peelies then.

Bottom line: Total was $116, oop, $25.96. Bought 67 items.

Look for Carolina rice (small packets), free with coupon. Ortega taco seasoning, free with coupon (although mine beeped but she put it through). The Mentos gum is $1.49. I was able to use a coupon on each one.

The lady behind me kept staring at my total and said "WOW! I've read about people doing this in magazines, but I've never seen it happen!" The cashier said, "Me either!" Good trip!

JaimeDae- Yes, the $1.50 Hot Shot Roach & Ant killer spray should be in the smartsource. I got one yesterday in the mini paper- it was the 1st time I ever got it. I'm hoping that the bee stuff is included in the sale....we need that.

I never got it before today- I only heard about it from my sister. It came separate from my regular paper. It was a "shopping paper" with ALL of the circulars and a mini Smart Source.

Okay, here are some things I got:

Edge shave gel $2.69 (.75/1)
Skintimate shave gel $2.69 (.75/1)
Shout trigger (2/$4, .55/1)
Frenchs mustard , $1.50 use .75/1= free (two varities-- yellow and spicy brown)
Suave 24 hr deodorant (small one), 41.39, use .75/1= free
Mr Clean wipes were on managers markdown, 75 wipes, Fresh Scent, $2.99 and I used the .75/1 from the P&G mailer

Got some other stuff but those coupons weren't insert ones and it's probably not worth me typing it all out.

DH and I (and 2 very active twins) headed out this morning and did three trips in Closter, NJ. Ran in to another AFC member. (Hi Carol!)

My Ortega coupons gave overage but they beeped so she just put them in a grocery and they tripled. French's gave overage.

My store never took them before either but I called yesterday and they said they would take IPs for under $1 and of course that's all I was planning on using. I used 4 IPs today. Check with your store. You never know! Have fun!
