I posted the full bonanza in the A&P forum and don't know how to link it here.
BUT--I went back tonight for round 2 and got some more FREE items

4 Land o' Lakes butter spread with canola oil, on sale 3/5.00, used .55Q tripled
= FREE and I got (2) .50 catalina for my next shopping trip....so better than free actually it was a Money Maker..

I will go back for more of these tomorrow.

A & P Ortley still wiped out of anything decent.
Suave deodorant, Shout, LOL spreadable butter, even the Breyers yogurt on sale 10 for $4 was empty.
Thought there was only 1 hot shot spray but found a display at the end of the aisle.
Got 4 cans of bug spray, 2 boxes of superpretzels and a Gallon of milk for 37 cents.
Had $4 off from buying Nature Valley bars the other day, plus q's for spray and pretzels.

Has anyone else noticed how stingy A&P is with their game pieces or is it only the store I go to? EVERY time I have to ask for my game pieces. What are the holding on to them for themselves? Not like they're any good anyway, I haven't won anything!

Same with my A&P.

Didn't get as much with the triples as I would have wanted but I did get twelve bottles of Apple & Eve juices for $1 and I got ten boxes of Lean Pockets, quesadillas, which for the life of me I can't remember the sales price but after triple, I paid .80 for each. I have a few q's left, so tonight I'lll make a trip to use them up.

I got tricked with the 50 cent Old Orchard 64 oz juices. I looked at my bottles last night and saw they're made with Splenda . Not my favorite, but still very cheap.

I think they are all in NY and NJ.

After 5 transactions, I saved 76% for a cost of .39 per item. This included a gallon of milk, bread, and cheese (non-coupon items). I spent $65.13 and saved $208.21. I am tired but happy!

I got my $269 order (lots of fresh meats, etc. with limited Qs as well as my triples shopping included in 1 transaction) down to $105 after Qs.

Another good deal was Kotex Tampons 18 count - $2.49 minus 75 cents coupon tripled to $2.25 so basically 24 cents per box!

I must have been sleeping all week - thank GOD I woke up JUST in the nick of time! But here's the thing...my A&P triples the 1st 3 coupons EVERY WEEK. Does anyone else's A&P do that? Do you know if that limit is removed for this week?? I guess I'll go give it a shot tomorrow...good thing I have the day off!!!

i am going to try and go this AM. I am betting there is nothing of any value that I need left. But I did cut anything and everything that was .50-.75 just in case.

It is funny how most people think cutting q's is easy when it really is a lot of work.

Mine only triples 4 of the same Q per transaction, that's why I did 5 transactions so I could get 20 gerber grads!!

LoL ok - I'll try doing 5 like coupons...this way I know A) if it will double over 3 Q's in one transaction, and B) if I need to enforce the 4 like Q's rule...wish me luck!

I really hate when this happens (find out the night the sale ends) - I just confirmed that my store is triping an unlimited number of Q's...as well as more than (4) like Q's. Grrrr! Lots of work to do tonight!!!

Good for you! My store had a sign for tripling unlimited Q's and when I went to use 6 like Q's I was told I could only use 4 like Q's. I said the sign says unlimited, but the cashier told me unlimited amount of Q's but only 4 like Q's? Oh well I just did my purchases in seperate transactions.

My store has a problem when you use self check out and everything comes out free. I went in the early AM and it said $0. They lady said you have to buy something you can't have it free in this lane. I tried to trick it by pressing pay and putting in a $5 bill and that was a whole ordeal getting my money back. She didn't want to give me my money.

Well I did pretty good. It took a while to look at everything... I got 34 items for 11.42 which works out to be around .34 per item. Not too bad. Got all they had with the suave deo and the french's mustard.

I am happy that I did the work the local food bank will be happy too..

OK, I'm new to this board and I wish that I found it a week ago

I've made several trips to A&P in Marlboro, NJ. They took ip coupons for me.
I believe that I got the Sure deodorant for free.
I also bout Disney eggs for 16c they were a managers special.
I had some coupons for Febreeze from signing up on the website. (They mailed me a coupon booklet) and I got some air freshner for 50c after coupon.

I also had coupons for Crabtastic (fake crab meat, not everyone's cup of tea but good for my diet) The coupons were 55c off each. The crabtastic was on sale 2/$4

I wish I could recall what else I purchased.
Oh yes, I also got the French's mustard for free, the cashier allowed the overage.

(2) Powerade's @ .80 each = $1.60 - .75/2= .65 overage
(2) Old Orchard Juice's @ 2/$4 - (2).50/1 Q's = $1.00
(1) Hamburger Buns @.99 no Q's = .99

Total Before Q's = $22.46 + .33 tax = $$22.79
Total OOP = $1.34 + .33 tax = $1.67
